Syria is now open to the pipeline from the Gulf to gat gas to Europe.

Russia was in Syria to insure the pipeline would never be built

Great news. I am from oil and gas country.
They are going to pay for it? Not American tax payers?

Wait a minute. Wasn’t this supposed to have happened when the war first started and the Nordstream pipelines were shut down? Then Europe adjusted and had a mild winter and everything was okay. Now we find out they were getting gas from Russia all along and it’s a new crisis? I guess I just can’t keep up.

Ukraine made a billion annually from fees charged for the use of their lines by the EU countries.

And we created ISIS to ensure it would be built and controlled by the Sunnis. They thanked us on Bourbon Street the other day.

I’m no expert, but to be sure the russians thought through this possibility. What will be their response? Are the gas pumping stations in Ukraine, (now pumping gas from where?) a fair target?

Because that’s a lot harder to repair than transformers, and leaves the Ukrainians burning furniture.

Ukraine, knowing their funding is getting cut once Trump takes office, is going nuclear. Spreading as much pain and misery as they can to try to change minds.

More than likely, this will backfire on them. Ever since the war started, the living conditions for every single European country has gone down, and costs have gone up in support of Ukraine.

This will make things worse for all of them sparking a backlash most likely.

Ukraine made a billion annually from fees charged for the use of their lines by the EU countries.

Now, the StupeUkies will expect us American taxpayers to cough up that billion.

The Ukrainians were stealing natural gas for themselves from the stream flowing to Europe.

Now that ceases - and once it becomes clear that the Ukies won't allow it to be re-opened, the pipeline infrastructure becomes fair game for the Russian missiles and drones.
