Who Is Matthew Livelsberger? Tesla Cybertruck Explosion Suspect
Newsweek ^ | 1/2/25 | Newsweek

Posted on 01/02/2025 4:46:53 AM PST by hardspunned

The person driving the Tesla Cybertruck that exploded outside President-elect Donald Trump's hotel in Las Vegas has been named by news outlets as Matthew Livelsberger.

Livelsberger, a 37-year-old Army veteran who lived in Colorado Springs, rented the truck that exploded outside Trump International Hotel, Colorado Springs-based station KOAA and the New York Post reported, citing unnamed law enforcement sources.

Livelsberger served at the same Army base as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the suspect in a New Orleans New Year's Day truck attack that killed at least 15 people, Denver-based station KMGH reports.

Newsweek could not immediately verify the information. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Colorado Springs Police Department have been contacted for comment via phone and email.

Nah, CIA or FBI would build a better bomb.

Livelsberger is reputed to be active duty Green Beret. I can't imagine he wouldn't build an effective bomb.

The “bomb” laughably appears to have consisted of intact fireworks, fuel in metal containers, and accelerants in their original containers, piled into the bed of a Cybertruck. Anyone with 10 hours of study on the Internet, or in the library, could have made a better bomb.

It appears to be a “bomb” devised by Wiley Coyote.

It makes me wonder it the person involved was being deliberately ineffective.

Knowing “nothing” may just be knowing a lot.

A Green Beret is among the last people I’d expect to pull something like this. Very strange.

A lot of people are saying this and the New Orleans incident are connected. I would be very surprised if they were past a few minor coincidences.

"Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the suspect in a New Orleans New Year's Day truck attack that killed at least 15 people"

If the powers that be still insist that all they have is knowledge of a "suspect" then how problematic could my blindness to it be?

Active duty green beret at 37 years old? Doubt it highly.

“And yet we still know NOTHING about the shooter in Butler PA.”

A bit of hyperbole. We know a fair amount, name, family, schools, employment.

No where near the close inspection of others.

A couple of things.

ANTIFA is notorious for using fireworks.

Also, I’m hearing the explosion was contained to a certain extent BECAUSE it was a Tesla cybertruck.

I’m guessing there’s a lot more here... If he was Army GB he obviously sucked at his job.

Looks like a lot of made up stuff to me.

I’m assuming there’s not much left of the body...but it would sure be suspicious to me...wondering someone else was in vehicle (not Livelsberger).

“It makes me wonder it the person involved was being deliberately ineffective.”

Or a patsy put out there by the Deep State. Think Lee Harvey Oswald.

I have seen pictures of the cybertruck after the explosion.

The tires are still intact. No evidence the batteries were involved in the fire/explosion.

The sides of the truck are intact, and the top was blown off, directing the force primarily upward.

If I can get back the way to post images on this computer, or switch to a different computer, I will post the image.
