The In-N-Out heiress whose grandparents founded the popular burger chain said that the company’s decision to close its sole Oakland location was due to the site being “absolutely dangerous.”
“I mean, there was a lot,” Lynsi Snyder told Marissa Streit of the right-leaning video network PragerU on Monday.
“There was actually — gunshots went through the store, there was a stabbing, there was a lot.”
Snyder, 42, said that the company shuttered the profitable outpost “for the safety of our associates” because “we just felt like, this is not OK.”
Her comments were first reported by the news site SFGATE.
In-N-Out made the decision to pull out of Oakland after an 18-year presence in the city this past January. It served its final customer in March.
It was the first time in its 75-year history that the company permanently shuttered one of its restaurants.

Merry Christmas, Oakland.
gunshots went through the store, there was a stabbing, there was a lot
That could have been any random Waffle House.
Not guilty. The hamburgers are a bonus.
In the ghetto they shoot and stab their way to a ‘food desert.’ Criminals don’t deserve anything nice.
Why was it necessary to print that?
The grandson of founders making such decisions isn’t call an “heir”.
A friend of mine visited Los Angeles on business a few years ago. They put him up in a very nice hotel. Here’s part of the conversation when he checked in.
Clerk: See that big picture window in our lobby? Don’t stand near it.
My friend: Why?
Clerk: Now and again a bullet comes through it.

California sure must be a swell place.
It’s not the zombies we need to fear, it’s the HOODIES..!
“Not guilty. The hamburgers are a bonus.”
Agree, incredible lady. Somehow her rich parents managed to raise her correctly, not just in a social sense but they also instilled their growth philosophy regarding In-and-Out which was to expand VERY SLOWLY, so as not to lose control over the quality of the food.
I remember long ago, when the first In-and-Out opened in Texas, you would see a boatload of California cars in its parking lot - almost certainly not customers (after all, if you’re a Texan from California, you’d be an idiot to keep your car registered in California a day longer than absolutely necessary). Instead they were very likely EXPERIENCED California workers, sent there for months to get the place running properly, before turning it over to Texans.
Back in 1992, we went to San Francisco for a wedding and got in town late. We walked from out hotel to a Denny’s about two blocks away and there was a street sign outside the Denny’s with a handful of bullet holes in it.
My "Southern by the grace of God" kinfolk love Waffle House and are willing to get up and help their fellow diners pitch into any damfools spoiling their victuals.
THAT'S why the Left hates her.
What grandson??????
Politicians doing what they do best living off the teet of the people while doing nothing for them
Any grandson of successful founders now making decisions for a business.
The democrat held territories need more Cavalry Forts
Yep, when I first saw one in Dallas, I had to choose between it and Whataburger. Found room for both.
Yep, I always make a stop if I pass one (closest is in Ohio). Love the pecan waffle and corned beef hash and eggs.
Ummmm. Side of ......
😂👍🙏🎅
The person in this article who makes the decisions happens to be a female...In other words a “granddaughter”....
