Democrat voters are more likely than Republicans to cut down on time spent with family members due to political differences, a post-election survey showed as the holidays ramp up.
The Public Religion Research Institute’s (PRRI) survey posted on December 13 found that “As the holidays approach … Democratic voters (23%) are nearly five times as likely as Republican voters (5%) to say they will be spending less time with certain family members because of their political views.”
PRRI President and Founder Robert P. Jones told Axios, “It may be tense around the Hanukkah and Christmas table. It’s not just that we’re disagreeing about abortion or we’re disagreeing about taxes or even immigration… but we’re disagreeing about a fundamental worldview and about identity.”

This is so true. A girl cousin of mine whom is in college was ranting about the Olympics that it was fair that a guy dressing up like a girl could get into the ring and box a biological female and that everybody just needs to deal with it and shut up because that's what they identify as we have to accept that.
So I said very quietly. I don't think you'd be too thrilled if you came home and found your father punching the crap out of your mother. Would it be okay if he was wearing a dress?? Crickets after that...

Perfect response. You can't show people with that mindset any mercy, imho.

Tolerance works for the right acting on behalf of the left. One way. Almost always.
The ones permitted, sometimes, to sit silently with their hands folded at a family holiday dinner, not showing any support of Trump. Subject to being sent away if the rule is violated.
William F. Buckley: “I decided that fundamental improvements weren’t going to be widespread during my lifetime and I had better be patient as I fought the battles over liberty and the US Constitution. Everyone was not going to change to my point of view overnight.”

“It may be tense around the Hanukkah and Christmas table.”
Well, not many people who celebrate Hannukah have Republican family members. (The politically conservative Jews I’ve known didn’t celebrate Hannukah, but I know some do.)

It’s not even that. It’s a mental illness.

Are you old enough to remember when we could post political bumper stickers on our cars without fear of getting keyed or worse?
I blame democrats for the horrid coarsening of society these past 40 years.

They are mentally stunted. There is an enormous body of things you can discuss if you have a wide fund of knowledge which the left apparently does not.

They’re liberal so he gives a shxt. I don’t have any liberal friends and I damn sure don’t associate with liberal family, I prefer to enjoy Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.

What if an NFL player self identified as an 6th grader and wanted to play on elementary school teams? Would family bimbos like seeing their brothers and other kids hauled off to the hospital emergency room after every game?

Sorry. Letting people we don’t personally know (politicians) rule your emotions to the point of disregarding or cutting family out of your life is just wrong. The fact is, family is so very important and crucial for long term survival and happiness that letting a single vote kill that relationship is evil and cultish.

When Bob Dole ran in 1996, I had a Dole bumper sticker on my old POS truck. Guy tried to run me and my now ex-wife off the road. The tolerance is so overflowing in the liberal cult.
