Car plows into crowd at German Christmas market in suspected terror attack, leaving several injured and at least 1 dead
A car plowed into a crowd of people shopping at a Christmas market in eastern Germany Friday — killing at least one and wounding several others in what officials are saying was a targeted attack.
Horrifying video showed the driver ripping through the narrow pathways between the outdoor shopping village, in the city of Magdeburg, where dozens of people were gathered.
The driver was immediately arrested after what authorities are calling a terror attack, MDR Sachsen-Anhalt reported.
Police told the outlet that at least one person was killed in the mayhem, but the total number of casualties is still unclear.

The incident mirrors a similar attack that happened Dec. 19, 2016, in Berlin, in which an Islamic extremist drove a truck through a crowd of Christmas market-goers with a truck, leaving 13 dead and dozens of others injured.
Last month, German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said there were no concrete indications of a danger to Christmas markets this year, but warned Germans to remain vigilant.
Magdeburg lies west of Berlin in the state capital of Saxony-Anhalt.

In all seriousness, you might be on the right track. German police have responded to Muslim knife attacks by searching old German women for pocket knives.
So I wouldn’t be surprised if Germany now starts to put restrictions on cars, and on where they can go.
Thank goodness they are patting down old white grandma for knives before they get in to the markets.
