President-elect Donald Trump has suggested that Mexico and Canada should become a U.S. state if they want to continue receiving subsidies from their neighboring country.
The president-elect had made a similar remark regarding Canada. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had reportedly told the president-elect during a November 29 meeting at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida that the tariff plans would devastate Canada's economy. The Republican is said to have jokingly suggested, "Maybe Canada should become the 51st state" in response.

While Canada has a population small enough to be 1 state, Mexico probable would have to be 3 states.

He’s trolling. Mexico has over 130 million people and is the 10th most populous country in the world. Making Mexico a state is ridiculous.
DeGaulle gave up Algeria because he realized that fully integrating Algeria into France would have radically changed his country. Same thing with us and Mexico.

Yep. These kinds of statements from Trump keep his opponents off-balance and guessing. And that’s obviously a very good thing.
And another thing. When you send an explorer somewhere and he plants a flag and he’s the only one there, it’s legit. Yup, I’m suggesting the Moon.
Interesting coming off the heels of a similar statement about Canada, and another about Greenland way back.
I’ve heard rumblings a few years ago of a post-DSC world, of a realignment of nations. In this, the new non-Corporate US includes Mexico, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. We lose Hawaii, which goes to another entity, in alignment with Japan.
The center of the Crown (DSC), England/City-of-London was unassigned.
I heard all that, not to the point of researching it, as I believe there was very little to go on, not provable, however interesting to me that tidbits of this kind of thought pop up from time to time.
Trudeau is a facing a hurricane west wind in Trump.
His commie BS is being met with a harsh poke in the chest and the Canadian people stand as much to gain as the US.
Trudeau has got to go. He’s a sickening little weasle.
