New Yorkers mockingly celebrated the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Washington Square Park with a truly tasteless shooter look-a-like contest — as the frantic manhunt for the brazen killer entered its fourth day.
Eight contestants donning hooded outerwear and face masks were surrounded Friday by dozens of onlookers, whose cheers amounted to votes in the nose-thumbing stunt.
The winner, whose green jacket and face covering made him a dead ringer for the cold-blooded assassin, said he headed toward the park after hearing about the contest that morning.

Just imagine the celebrations had the Democrats’ assassin succeeded in Butler PA.
They would become an annual festival.
It’s good these stories are coming out. Americans need to see what our adversary looks like.

Given this attitude of New Yorkers against him and health insurance companies, one wonders why the UHC CEO didn’t have a security person with him that morning.
With the expressed attitude against her by some of her basketball opponents and announcers, even Caitlin Clark has a full-time security guard with her.

The funny one I saw was a supposed witness that was interviewed, and when asked what he saw he stated that he didn’t see the shooter well since he had been denied glasses by his insurance. Hahaha
All jokes aside. It’s still a premeditated murder.

We have some of our own celebrating this murder here on Free Republic. We might not be much better than the folks in New York.
same folks who celebrated covid deaths at senior centers I fear. or was that the health insurance folks celebrating keeping the premiums? it is confusing.
Misplaced anger. It’s not the insurance industry that screwed up health care, it was Obamacare. The industry has certainly taken advantage of it, but I know from personal experience that before ObamaCare UCH had excellent coverage and never denied anything. After... unreal what they will excuse as “not in the table.” But that’s all regulated.
