Democratic strategist James Carville claimed Tuesday on “The Beat” that media personality Tucker Carlson has had the most influence regarding President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet nominations.
Carville said, “Steve Bannon does not drive this. One person is driving this, I promise you. And it’s Tucker Carlson. Tucker’s an old friend of mine. There’s nothing that I see -”
Host Ari Melber asked, “Still friends?”

Doubtful but highly interesting that it appears to me Trump has sent Tucker to Moscow to “interview” the Russian Foreign Minister. Sure! How about back channel peace negotiations?

I am stating it, here and now, Carville is starting/continuing to lose his mental competency.

Commies are just upset that Trump did not hire deep state pricks like some of his hires the first time..this time Trump learned his lesson and is picking top notch people who are NOT deep state fools which is why the commies are upset

Snakehead is having a tough time dealing with Kamala’s loss. I guess flooding America with illegal aliens isn’t the brilliant idea they democrats thought it was.

For the last few weeks, Tucker has been very strident in warning about Biden and the risk
of nuclear war. If Tucker is involved in back channel discussions, so much the better.

I’m fine with it. Tucker Carlson is a sharp cookie. I also think he knows how to follow orders from headquarters/Maralago.

No way that anyone carries more influence than the family, especially Don Jr., who picked J D Vance.

“Tucker’s an old friend of mine.”
Tucker was at the table wearing a bowtie when Carville put the trash can over his head, IIRC.

I think it’s more like he’s having a hard time with the sure knowledge that he is 100% irrelevant now. Pissed that the old farts have been kicked to the curb to make room for 23-year-olds.

I concur. When I saw the video of him playing with the ass-wiping tongs, I thought “Stick a fork in him.”

What a clueless fool. For much of the past 9 1/2 years Tucker was very ambivalent towards Trump and on a personal level, didn’t even like him. Now suddenly he’s pulling Trump’s strings?
