A Canadian town is facing a fine of $10,000 for refusing to participate in Pride Month and fly the "LGBTQ2 rainbow flag" outside its municipal building.
The town of Emo, Ontario, which has a population of about 1,300 and is situated near the border with Minnesota, was found to have violated the Ontario Human Rights Code by the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario for refusing to proclaim June as Pride Month, according to a report from the National Post.
The town was also issued a citation for its failure to fly "an LGBTQ2 rainbow flag," the report notes, despite Emo not having an official flag pole.

Idiot Canadians. I used to love Canada till they went full on socialist/commie. Kick that PM soy boy out and get yourself a real man like we did with President Trump.
My response if I were their mayor:
You did not send us a LGBTQ2 rainbow flag to fly.
We did not have it in our budget to purchase said flag.
We are a village of 1300 souls and with petty cash on hand of 2 Loonies, we can not buy a flag.
In the future if your government is to make such silly mandates please supply the necessary tangible goods to fulfill these mandates.
As you have not done so in this instance we will not be remitting your fine.

Mayor Harold McQuaker argued there was "no flag being flown for the other side of the coin… there’s no flags being flown for the straight people."
There actually is a "straight" flag, it's a repeating pattern of black and white alternating horizontal stripes. The design needs some work I think, but it'll do to make a statement.

That was my experience in this crap.
I would say that the mistake made is that there should have been no debate on the matter. Just an up or down vote.
If an explanation was deemed necessary I would have said that it is not within the purview of this council to express the community's views or opinion on sexuality.
How far down can Canada fall?
It’s sordid enough to penalize folks or towns from stating truth - that there are only two sexes and those with gender problems should be handled with mental, not medical care.
It’s another thing entirelly to fine a town for not complying with a law that - if complied with - is proof that Canadian leadership is even more corrupt and vile than our present DemocRAT party. (Yes, Canada, we (appear) to have voted for, Mr Pedo Turd, so we aren’t exactly talkin’ from a higher plane.). But, at least, we gained some sanity and threw that Pedo Turd right outta office.
Forced progressive idiocy?
They should simply refuse to pay the fine.
