An already hectic holiday travel day was made more chaotic with two separate plane collisions on the tarmac at Boston Logan International Airport just hours apart on Monday.
In the first crash, an American Airlines jet that was taxiing to its gate clipped the wing of a parked Frontier Airlines plane, local ABC affiliate station WCVB reported.
“That was terrible. It was very scary. All of a sudden, ‘thump.’ It sounded like something fell from below,” Evelyn Pipione, a Frontier passenger
...
Video obtained by Storyful shows the battered wing of the smaller Frontier plane underneath the wing of the larger American aircraft.
“So, you can see the wing actually broke on the bottom, so the bigger plane — the wing is over, and then ours is cracked at the bottom,” Douglas Garcia, who took the footage
....
The American Airlines plane had just come from London’s Heathrow Airport while the Frontier flight was set to take off to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
Passengers and crew members were removed from both aircraft so the planes could be inspected for damage, and the Texas-bound Frontier flight was canceled — just three days before Thanksgiving
...
Hours later, a JetBlue airplane that was being towed by a vehicle smacked into a Cape Air plane that had just landed at Logan from Nantucket and was waiting for a gate to open..
The Cape Air plane was occupied by two pilots and three passengers, while the JetBlue aircraft was vacant.
...
The FAA and the different airlines are investigating the two collisions.

DEI alert.
And a “who is John Galt” while we’re at it.
These are ramp areas and not under air traffic controllers. These appear to be human error, likely fatigue events. The best ramp personnel worked earlier in the week and scheduled for the busy weekend. The B team may be working.
I guess crashing on the tarmac is better than crashing in the air.
Those scratches will buff right out.
I would call those near misses. They almost missed but not quite.
DEI at its finest.
This is not the first time something like this has happened. Have any heads rolled yet? Any accountability?
The pilots union should be up in arms over who operates and works in air traffic control.
The Unbound Prometheus is not unbound but instead ruthlessly limited by the number of capable and motivated people operating increasingly complex systems, at a price the owners of those systems are willing to pay.
Filling such positions with under-qualified and/or under-motivated employees will continue to contribute to breakdowns of the machine.
DEI in action. It was just a matter of time.
DEI is our strength.
Q’wintasha’s first day on the job??
Those wacky Massachusetts people! Probably still shook up over Trump’s big avalanche election.
**The pilots union should be up in arms over who operates and works in air traffic control.**
This is ‘parking lot’ stuff. (My sis is a retired ATCer) Think of the taxiways and runways as ‘streets’ and ‘freeways’. The ground crews for each airline are supposed to be helping the birds get in and out of the ‘parking lot’. The ATC ground controller only plays traffic cop once the plane is clear of the ‘parking lot’, and looking to enter the ‘street’.
On September 11, 2001, American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 departed Boston Logan for Los Angeles but were hijacked by terrorists who flew them into the World Trade Towers in New York.
Logan Airport is a dump. Leftist misrule has ruined everything in this country.
lol.. I haven’t had a chance to watch the special episode onthe blaze about the next air disaster.. their expose is all about the certainty of it based on the terrible state of planes and repairs.
Two JetBlue planes collide on tarmac of Boston Logan Airport - causing damage to Orlando-bound jet’s tail section and left wing of aircraft heading to Las Vegas ..
They almost missed .. February 2024..

Ha, ha, LMAO.....the US is truly becoming to resemble the movie Idiocracy!
The entire aviation community is infected with DEI, and a lot of higher ups in the FAA are Extremely Concerned at the frequency of DEI related incidents. I know somebody...
