Democrats are celebrating Thanksgiving by scolding Americans, telling them they should thank illegal aliens working on United States farms for picking their food.
“Everyone at the dinner table today, especially MAGA, please give thanks to the undocumented immigrants that picked and packed the food you’re enjoying. They deserve our grace,” Julián Castro wrote on X. “Happy Thanksgiving!”
Meanwhile, Sen. Ben Ray Luján (D-NM) made a similar statement, writing:
Join me in taking a moment to appreciate the hands that harvested the food on our Thanksgiving tables this year. Our meals wouldn’t be possible without the tireless work of migrant farmworkers, farmers, and ranchers across the country. Thanksgiving doesn’t happen without them. [Emphasis added]

160 years ago, the dems were thanking slaves for picking cotton.
Because they picked our food out of the kindness of their hearts.
Thank you for picking our food illegal aliens. And eating it. I mean, they pick our food, get free medical, transportation, housing, etc.

Here’s to newer and better machine picker/harvester technology. Tomatoes engineer to be machine harvested, same thing for other staples.
BTW, doesn’t all have to be illegals. Nothing wrong with issuing seasonal visas for that kind of work here. The intent is for them to go home when the season ends.

We have a seasonal farm worker visa. There should be no reason for illegals to be picking anything.

Fruit pickers don’t drive new RAM trucks and Cadillac Escalades with handicap placards hanging from the rearview mirrors.

That is correct, there are and have been legal channels for seasonal laborers.

Picking and processing our food with poopy hands so there are thousands of animals giving their lives for nothing when meat and everything else gets recalled so we get to pay higher prices. Thanks a lot.
Somebody tell those fools that 70% of US farm labor are US citizens. 😣
