Russia has launched a "massive strike" on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, the country's energy minister said, as explosions were reported in several cities.
Herman Halushchenko said on Facebook that attacks on energy facilities were "taking place all over Ukraine" and emergency power outages had been introduced, urging people to take shelter.
Early on Thursday, the Ukrainian air force issued a nationwide air raid warning "due to the threat of missile danger".
The air force issued further warnings of missiles, rockets and drones heading towards numerous regions around the country, including Kyiv, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Kropyvnytskyi, Balta, and Mykolaiv.

Firstly - it’s not going to be “Ukraine’s demise” - this is flatly not going to happen, as Muscowy has in fact created a strong national identity for Ukrainians that even if they were occupied, it would not die out (see the Poles).
Secondly - Muscowy doesn’t have the ability to get more than a few metres from the Donbas lines - and that too at high cost, they are not going to be able to conquer even up to the river, leave alone all of Ukraine.
Thirdly - this was Nuland handing out food - the fact is that this started eyars earlier with Putin interfering in Ukraine as evidenced in 2008 Ukraine and Georgia petitioning to join NATO (that failed because people like you in France and Germany thought it would “provoke” Putin - hint, he took your cowardice and invaded Georgia 6 weeks later)
