A judge in Delaware has dismissed a lawsuit against Fox News that was brought by an Arizona man at the center of a conspiracy theory about what sparked the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.
Ray Epps, a former U.S. Marine, sued Fox last year alleging the network knowingly promoted what his attorneys said were “destructive conspiracy theories” about his involvement in the riot.
Epps was sentenced earlier to a year of probation for his role in insurrection, after admitting to engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds after storming the Capitol.

When Trump is in charge I suspect (hope) a deep investigation will go into what happened at the capitol builing on J6

I am still hoping that his active roll in this setup is exposed in the end.
This means there will be no discovery in the court record of Epp’s contacts and dealings. From the standpoint of a coverup, very helpful.
Too bad ... if the trial proceeded he might have had to open his bank accounts and explain where all his “gifts” came from. But just like all of Epstein’s passenger logs, sealed for ever.
I wonder how that lawsuit would have gone if either Biden or Harris had won the Presidency?

I suspect Epps would have backed out because of that. The idea was that the lawsuit would make him look like he was falsely accused...while never forcing people to speak under oath about him, or provide the goods.
One thing for certain, there are vids of him and his helpers with bull horns telling protesters to storm the Capitol building and a vid of him in the building after swearing under oath he never entered the building. Fox showed all thev vids.
He wanted it tossed. Discovery would have been a b!tch.
