Germany’s domestic energy policies and economic environment are driving its biggest industrial players away from home and toward more favorable conditions in China. Escalating energy costs, massive subsidies for renewable energy and stringent regulations have created an environment in Germany that is increasingly hostile to industrial growth.
As a result, many of Germany’s most established companies are downsizing at home, shedding thousands of jobs, while investing heavily in China. This shift underlines the profound impact of current policies on Germany’s industrial landscape, with long-term implications for the local economy and employment.
Asia Times examines here the key factors and the companies that are reshaping their operations abroad.
High energy costs in Germany: The result of ideological policies
Germany’s energy policies have driven industrial electricity prices to levels that are among the highest in the world, second only to the UK. By 2023, the average price for industrial users will have reached almost US$250 per MWh; even this cost level is unsustainable without substantial government subsidies, which have now reached unprecedented levels.

I think the more appropriate question is what will the imported migrants do with the native population.
Maybe Germany needs some tariffs and a border wall.
Big Question—what will the German People do with such a government? My bet—Turn Right—MGGA.
Nothing that a world war won’t fix. Maybe they think America will rebuild them again.
Notice that the Eurotrash are not investing in manufacturing here in America? I do.
This is not going to end well.
Germany is going to swing hard to the right.
The people will not put up with this crap much longer.
Also expect a close relationship with Russia, and normalization of commodity trade.
The near cutoff of all Russian energy has caused this disruption.
Big Question—what will the German People do with such a government? My bet—Turn Right—MGGA.

Dennis Prager is correct once again. One of his theorems, is “What ever Germany does, do the opposite.” Certainly not true in all cases, but when it comes to energy, the economy and self-reliance, he could not be more correct.
The Germans may as well just do like some Canadians are doing and eat the pill and put yourself out of misery. What is the point of a country when there is no work, no churches (dying quickly), no energy (freezing your arch off). Now all of your awesome cars are now sheiße as well.
Germany needs a Herr Donald Johann Trump.
BMW and Mercedes have significant manufacturing facilities in the USA.
Germany Sucks
but the Leeches only wanted Free Stuff not work ,LOL
Unsustainable without substantial government subsidies.
Now where did I hear that before.
Their ‘center left’ coalition government has already collapsed and is desperately trying to put off a snap election because they already know that the populace, if asked to choose in the next couple of months, will turf them all out.
If they can get a few more months, they can throw the people some bones and use propaganda to get them back in line again. Or so they think.
China opened coal power plants.
Germany closed coal power plants.
We are Germany’s 3rd world dumping ground.
Germany is too stupid to be a country.
We should revoke their license.
Ain’t globalism and the green agenda grand?
