Proponents of ranked-choice voting are recalibrating after Americans across the country broadly rejected measures intended to implement the system.

...

...overall, election reform measures that would have set up ranked-choice systems or done away with partisan primaries — or, in some cases, both — had a bad night in November. Such measures failed in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and South Dakota on Election Day, prompting organizers to look for new routes to grow their movement, such as educational efforts and action through the state legislature.

Leave it dead and buried, I say.

Still, Alaska was unable to appeal their ranked-choice system. D.C. passed theirs, unsurprisingly.

The Hill pushed it?
Well then, consider it a terrible idea.

Has any court ever ruled on the constitutionality of ranked choice?

Ranked choice?

Stealing elections by corrupting primaries.

Dems. Deceit is their middle name.

(Undermining all forms of opposition is their hobby.)

One person. One vote.

It can't be constitutional.

What kills me about Alaska is that the measure was on its way to defeat when suddenly enough votes surfaced to keep it in place. Me thinks Murkowski had something to do with that because she'll never win another election without it.

I hope the citizens of Alaska try again to repeal it.

The fact that D.C. passed it tells you all you need to know about ranked-choice.

If these clowns have non-profits the IRS needs to revoke their tax exempt status.

They are engaged in election interference.

If they have ranked choice, can I vote for the same person 4 times, or do I have to choose someone I don’t want as my second or third choice?

That is not only unconstitutional, but unconscionable.

You do not have to make second or more choices.

Does this loss int he first round mean that now they have to pick their second favorite possible way to rig elections?

And what a movement RCV is! A huge steamy stinking pile of movement.

No thank you.

It basically gives your vote to someone else, so I don’t believe it is constitutional. It also seems to attract a lot of unqualified candidates.
