I spent last week in Austin for work. Didn’t get around too much so I couldn’t get a feel for the lefty lunacy. But, I flew Southwest where you board by group and choose your own seat. Leftist city to leftist city.
I boarded fairly early and got an exit aisle seat. There was a guy at the window and no one between us. They made several announcements about the flight being full and to grab the first seat you could find.
I was wearing a Trump hat. Let’s just say it was a great decision. I think the only open seat was next to me.

Austin has consistently had a lower violent crime rate than Texas as a whole. It has fallen markedly from the first decade of this century, and is far below the crime rate from the 70’s to the 90’s.
