A leading drug policy advocacy group has published a draft executive order that it hopes will guide President Joe Biden or future administrations to promote equity in federal marijuana policy and steer the country away from the drug war. The suggested moves include mandating the attorney general to reinstate cannabis enforcement guidance that was rescinded under the Trump administration.
The Drug Policy Alliance (DPA) released the multi-part proposed order on Monday, pitching multiple reforms that could be implemented with executive authority from the White House, rather than waiting for Congress to legislatively enact them. The intent is to significantly build upon the marijuana pardons and rescheduling review directed under Biden.
“This proposal is not only a roadmap for President Biden to take action in the final days of his presidency but also a framework for future administrations to leverage executive authority to advance federal marijuana policies that are fair,” Cat Packer, director of drug markets and legal regulation at DPA, said in a press release. “The opportunity to lead on marijuana reform is not bound by political cycles—it is a responsibility for every administration committed to liberty, justice and public health.”

Must every Biden evil plot use the “equity” smokescreen?
They’ll learn the same lesson that republicans learned in 2020 - any chimp with a pen and a giant stack of pre-printed executive orders can rescind any of these imperial decrees.
Remember when everyone swore up and down that Marijuana was strictly for medical purposes and to alleviate suffering of the infirmed?
They same the same thing about booze.
“equity in federal marijuana”
Equity in precipitating mental illness (a friend smoked that stuff, went nuts, tried to kill his wife and now it’s next to impossible to have a conversation with him).
I really would like to see some kind of term limit on EOs. It has turned into a subversion of the American form of government. Same thing with bureaucratic mandates.
Drivers of F-1 cars in Sat night’s race at Las Vegas :
Many COMPLAINED that they could heavily smell MJ DURING the race & poor.
One driver said he actually felt ‘high’ during the event.
Since they can get banned on drug tests-—it was of serious concern.
Executive Orders can’t trump laws.
What makes you think Trump would rescind this?

I’d wager the clothes on my back that The Big guy’s puppet masters will use Executive Orders of all sorts to throw huge monkey wrenches into the works to create havoc for DJT.
Yes it’s sure bet to keep them in a child maturity mode last week Bongo reported stats on it and it’s at a 55% range in the U.S..
Everyone feel safe?.
Visit California it’s one huge Disneyland.

Not really. Some did, but by no means everyone. Many were clear about their desire for legalization for recreational use, along with their (mistaken) belief that there were no downsides.

Biden (or Trump) can certainly use an EO to take marijuana out of the current Schedule 1 listing, and move it to Schedule III or IV.
His stuff was spiked. My friends smoke it regularly and I use it for nausea. None of them have had psychotic episodes, and have been smoking it for decades. Literally, decades. All are productive members of society.
PCP, however, WILL do that. It was common once upon a time to find joints and bud soaked in the stuff, but not as common anymore. If he went to someone he didn’t know to buy it, that is a possiblity.
Look into what happened with Big Lurch. Sounds familiar.

Anyone who did even 10 minutes of research could see all those medical initiatives were funded and pushed by far left liberals. They used the argument you pointed out...who deny someone in their dying last day the right to smoke pot? Now of course the leftists have what they want...so near perpetually stoned population easily swayed by emotional outbursts and arguments.
He had this mental illness that ran in the family. He shouldn’t have smoked knowing he was at risk.
the same thing for prescription medications... now it’s used to control children’s and adult’s temperament...
