Donald Trump is the one-of-a-kind man who really can end socialism in America

Why has no one else been able to stand up to the left the way he has?

...

Here are five reasons Trump is the perfect man to bring about the change he promises:

First, Trump’s energy has enabled him to be as successful as he is.

...

Second, Trump has psychological resilience. The amount of rage that has been directed at him has been astronomical, to say the least. Nor can he ignore it because he must watch what the press is doing. Very few people could stand up to that amount of hatred.

Third, Trump is an independent thinker.

...

Fifth, Trump can read minds. While it’s true that he can’t tell you what number between one and a million you’re thinking of, in every other sense, he can read minds. A close look at his rhetoric suggests he has a unique gift. He genuinely understands people.

For example, during the 2016 campaign, Trump claimed President Obama had insulted a Trump supporter who had crashed a Hillary rally at which Obama was speaking. In fact, Obama had been polite. However, what Trump understood is that all the Democrats genuinely dislike the people whose votes they seek. Very often, Trump’s strategy is to articulate what people are figuring out for themselves. This is how the press keeps giving him billions of dollars in free press despite their utmost efforts to destroy him. He’s exploiting their disconnect with voters, and they don’t understand that.

Sixth, Trump has the unique ability to bait his opponents into exposing the worst side of themselves. Thus, he forces them to show Americans the lunacy of wokeness. This brings moderate Democrats to Trump’s side.

I would add another reason (though this might be incorporated in "Number Five" in the article): Trump understands the media. He has been poking at and prodding the media his entire career...mostly for fun. Over the years he has gained a solid understanding of how people in the media (not just the press but people whose lives are lived in the media spotlight) react when they are being poked and prodded.

This is part of Trump's personality. He's a trickster who loves to play pranks on people. It was this quality (or problem) that convinced his father to send him to NY Military Academy.

Trump sees socialism as clearly evil. You would think the Constitution would prevent socialism, but the left changes the language to get around it.

We all need to get rid of socialism. Trump is a champion but this job is gonna take 20-30 years. Lots of people who want government help only.

The media didn’t create Trump so they cannot tear him down.

The media didn’t create Trump so they cannot tear him down.

Very true.

In fact, Trump tricked the media—against its will—into helping him create his own public persona...and I think the media despises him for that.

Trump is a billionaire.

He has to be independently wealthy to defend against all the attacks and lawfare.

You can start by calling it collectivism which is in opposition to individualism. Nobody wants to live like an ant.

Marktwain you point out a critical point here.
Nobody without Trump’s wealth could have contemplated challenging this behemoth.
No one with his wealth would have reason too.

Trump is America’s Moses. I’m inclined to believe that he was anointed for this purpose.
Our prayers have been heard and mercy has been granted.
Call me crazy...

I’m hoping for the pendulum to swing backntowards freedom. Conservative roots are in libertarianism (small “l”)
I did not vote for the leftist welfare state to be replaced with a right welfare state. Time to end the ‘fundamental transformation’ of the welfare state and income redistribution.
