Tesla CEO Elon Musk didn’t hold back after watching Jaguar’s hallucinogenic relaunch commercial.
The ad, meant to mark a new chapter for the iconic British automaker, had many viewers wondering if Jaguar was selling cars or auditioning for a spot in a high-fashion runway show.
Musk’s dry humor shone through when he quipped on X (formerly Twitter), “Do you sell cars?”—a question that summed up the collective confusion.
Jaguar isn’t just looking for a comeback; it’s aiming for a full-on reincarnation. Part of Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) ambitious Reimagine strategy, the plan includes ditching the old and embracing an entirely battery-electric vehicle (BEV) lineup.

I agree with Musk. Are they selling cars? What an idiotic commercial. Whoever put it together needs to learn to code.
Imagine a Jag or Land Rover that didn’t suck. I know, I know...some imaginings are labelled science fiction when in reality (see what I did there?) they are pure fantasy.
Man, they must have spent £4.17 on that CGI. 90’s era Dr. Who.
Tesla needs to introduce a gasoline-powered line of cars.
,,, looks like the Teletubbies have lost weight.

Whoever came up with the idea for this sad excuse for an advertisement should be fired immediately.
That is a shame we had 2 Jaguar E-type 12 V. They were my favorite all time cars 1973 and 1974. Both convertibles.
Budget rental gave me one of theos F-type cars a few years ago when they ran out of compacts.
Took me ten minutes to get out of the Honolulu parking garage. What a cluster- f that car was, trying to figure it all out in a dimly lit parking structure. Hard as heck to even see out of.
Out in the open it might have been fun, but in congested Honolulu it was just stressful.

What would Detective Chief Inspector Morse say?
Now I think I know where the lady who did the Dylan Mulvaney Bud Light thing landed.....
I have thought that.
