Controversial Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is heavily favored to win re-election next year despite being seen as soft on crime — and critics say that could make New York City a laughingstock.
No Democrat has emerged thus far to challenge Bragg in the June 25 Democratic primary.
Republicans will field a credible candidate, said state GOP chairman Ed Cox — but pundits predict that any GOP nominee will still face daunting odds in liberal Manhattan, even with Bragg’s reputation as being soft on quality-of-life and street crimes.
Some analysts added that New York will be a national joke if Bragg, who has been in office a turbulent three years, coasts to re-election.

NY City and State are a one-party progressive state, which survives on Govt and Wall street. Most of the state resembles appalachia, while Govt and Wall Street elites sit atop.
And its ALL fed by government printed money, and debt.
So the party bosses pick the people who run the city but Trump is the threat to democracy.

NYers don’t vote. Only about twenty percent of REGISTERED voters showed up the last two times. Twenty percent of NY voters is probably the actual communists.
New York is already a national joke, except that the rest of the nation isn’t laughing.
By next year I hope Alvin Bragg is sitting in Gitmo where he belongs. Along with Trish. And Gov Hochul, who assured NY investors that Trump is the only one who would ever be charged the way he was.
That’s consistent with their views
“...could make New York City a laughingstock...”
Could?
THEY ARE A LAUGHINGSTOCK!
Why start now Ed?

Once upon a time, a shoe company sent two salesmen to Africa to determine the market potential for their products. One salesman was sent to the east coast of Africa, while the other salesman was sent to the west coast of Africa. Both the salesmen completed a basic survey of the target market and called back to the office. The salesman sent to the east coast of Africa reported: “No one here wears any shoes, there is no market for us here!”. The other salesman sent a message “No one here wears any shoes, there is a huge market for us, send inventory fast!”.
That ship done sailed.
Your story of the two African shoe salesmen reminded me of one I heard from a pilot. He had been hired to fly in a load of shoes to a small airport. When they landed and the shoes were being unloaded the natives swamped the plane and stole all the shoes.
The next time they flew in there they brought more shoes but only the left ones. Whether the story is true, who knows.
The best thing that could happen to improve NYC would be for a 150ft space rock to hit it in midtown.
I suspect if they can get fifty percent to the polls things will look different.

Thieves in Nebraska managed to swipe thousands of dollars in merchandise from a vintage clothing store this summer, but police recently revealed they mostly made off with a bunch of shoes only for left feet.
This means that majority of those in NYC are criminals since the law-abiding left some time ago. Criminals of the streets elect and re-elect a criminal in a business suit who will go even softer on his fellow criminals. It’s a win-win for them all.
I was going to say stupid, but yours is better.
Not just NY- Fulton County, GA re-elected that pile of fat, Fani Willis, too.
Send illegal immigrants to NYC
New Yorkers are STUPID and CRAZY!! DANGEROUS COMBO!
