Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has pledged to tackle high rates of chronic diseases such as diabetes and obesity as President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to lead the US Department of Health and Human Services. They’re goals that many in the public health world find themselves agreeing with — despite fearing what else the infamous anti-vaccine activist may do in the post.

Just don’t suggest that he tackle those goals with medications like Ozempic.

One more subject for him to be questioned about at his confirmation hearing.

Doctors say that RFK’s anti-Ozempis stance will prevent them from getting that new yacht they’ve always wanted.

“infamous anti-vaccine activist «

He is not anti-vaccine. Just a infamous ambulance-chasing lawyer.

Getting away from processed foods and fast foods will go a long way toward getting healthier.

I have been resisting the temptation to find out what Ozempic is. It may be the greatest boon to humanity since the invention of penicillin, but we have a long history of fad drug marketing, and Ozempic has been marketed in exactly that way.

Get politicians and the gov’t OUT of healthcare where they do not constitutionally or reasonably belong. What gov’t does best is kill. Gov’t “healthcare” is actually “Death Protocol”

Healthcare belongs in the voluntary cooperation directly between doctors and patients.

NUKE UNCONSTITUTIONAL GOV’T HEATHCARE!!!

He’s right. The doctor in the article IS wrong: We DO have way too many people who eat low quality food, don’t move, and then become a burden on themselves and the health care system.

Obesity and diabetes CAN be cured - if one stops eating carbs all the damn time! But neither Big Food nor Big Pharma wants to admit it. Instead, they keep pushing:

“Cut fat, particularly saturated fat, and get rid of beef. Eat carbs 6 times a day...and we’ll make a killing!”

Doctors today are generally nothing more than paid indoctrinated shills. These articles that use the Appeal to Authority fallacy are only for the weak minded.

One observes that the media rushes to protect Novo Nordisk A/S, a Danish drug company, as they did BioNTech, a German company.

It's always about money, money and money.

As to diets, eat less BigFood processed products. As a matter of fact, avoid them all. Fresh meats, fruits and vegetables cure much that ails the obese and gluttonous.

Rhetorical question: have you ever noticed that the pharmaceutical company sales people who regularly visit doctor offices are usually young, thin females who wear tight skirts?

I beg to differ.

He’s got all the hallmarks of an intentionally ineffective attorney charged with soaking up all the legit and credible pharma injured—for Big Pharma.

FlingWingFlyer :"Who asked them? The “media mafia”?

The fact that the cited source is CNN should have disclaimer
since much of their advertizing income comes from Big Pharma,
and they have a financial interest in promoting the drug as well as many other drugs.

With 10+ people dead and 100+ people hospitalized from using that stuff, it’s not ‘misrepresentation’.
