I wonder why didn’t Trump pick Fani Willis, Alvin Bragg, Jack Smith, Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, or Thomas Crooks instead of Matt Gaetz? If a ballot was cast for Thomas in the Election for Senator Casey then wouldn’t he be eligible to be AG?

One less House seat. Well it will be filled by the Republican Governor of Florida so we won't "lose" it, though I assume Gaetz will actually have to serve in the house until his new term begins before he can resign.

Rudy Guiliani is 80 years old. Trump seems to be appointing younger, high energy conservatives instead of people in the twilight years. Trump is demonstrating he wants to build a lasting movement and is preparing the next generation to carry on. Rudy at 80, might not even complete one term.
