Fox News reports that Trump will send a special envoy to negotiate a peace between Russia and Ukraine.
"You’re going to see a very senior special envoy, someone with a lot of credibility, who will be given a task to find a resolution," the report says. "You’re going to see that in short order."
In the campaign, Trump said he would end the war in 24 hours, before he was even sworn in.
The Fox report also highlights this:
Some advisers are reportedly encouraging Trump to push Kiev to agree to terms that would freeze the frontlines by creating an 800-mile-long demilitarized zone and allow Russia to keep the land it has illegally seized, which amounts to roughly 20% of Ukraine.
It has also been suggested that Kiev should agree not to pursue NATO membership for 20 years, a stipulation that critics of this plan argue kowtows to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The job is basically arranging the surrender of Ukraine and clean up for the absolutely stupid and corrupt policy and failures of Obama and Biden regimes.

Russia is routinely wrong on foreign policy conflicts around the globe from the Sahel to Israel to Burma to the Americas, but in Ukraine they are completely in the right. The neocon/NATO establishment overthrew the democratically elected pro-Russian government in Ukraine in 2014 and gave support to the Neo-Nazi movement that was attacking ethnic Russians, leading to the separatist movement and the move to secure Crimea against NATO plans to fortify it to bottle up the Russian Black Sea fleet. NATO plans to expand into Ukraine and turn it into a nuclear-missile armed FOB against Russia were the last straw.
So let's hope Trump kicks the America-hating elites in the teeth, and repairs the breach with Russia by openly siding with them against the NATO elites and their Ukrainian puppets. It will be an important first step to pivoting to contain China by doing what we should have done all along - cultivate ties with Russia vis-a-vis China rather than driving Russia into China's arms. The elites who treated Ukraine's population as nothing more than cannon fodder to feed their hatred of traditional culture can deport themselves to China for all I care.

Trump is allowing Ukraine to suffer a bit due his past entanglements with Biden and Ukraine. The impeachments were over Trumps refusal to support a war in Ukraine or Biden’s corruption. Most of Trump’s headaches and legal problems stemmed from Biden’s corruption over Ukraine.
Great to announce his appointment for next year. This gives Zelinski plenty of time to atone for his Sins against Trump. When you try to kill the king you must succeed - Zelinski and Biden damn near pulled it off.
Zelinski personally attempted to meddle in the election while speaking in NYC when he revealed SECRET discussions with Trump and Zelinski stated words to the effect, “I spoke with Trump about NATO membership and Nuclear weapons acquisition by Ukraine if no NATO membership and Trump didn’t push back” giving the impression that Trump was okay with Ukraine getting nukes. (After all of Zelinksi’s whinning about spilling SECRETS in HIS Victory Plan).
