Jeremy Clarkson says he believes the government has a “sinister plan” to “ethnically cleanse” the British countryside of farmers to make way for “immigrant towns”.
The Clarkson’s Farm star, who has been vocal about chancellor Rachel Reeves’s moves to bump up his inheritance tax bill, wrote in The Sun to criticise what he believes is a gross mistreatment of the agricultural sector.
Under plans outlined by the chancellor, inheritance tax thresholds will be extended for two more years until 2030, allowing the first £325,000 of any estate to remain tax-free before being taxed at 40 per cent.
Farmers argue they are bearing the brunt of a system that the mega-wealthy exploit to avoid paying tax, such as Clarkson.
But rather than accept that he is part of the problem, Clarkson has moved to champion farmers by embarking on a bizarre anti-immigrant rant in a red-top rag.
Describing Reeves’s plan as an “all-out war on the countryside”, he argued her government’s policies are a form of “ethnic cleansing,” a term typically associated with genocide.
He wrote: “I’m becoming more and more convinced that Starmer and Reeves have a sinister plan.
“They want to carpet bomb our farmland with new towns for immigrants and net zero wind farms.

Thank you Jeremy. Clarkson Farms funny but also displaying the massive govt rules, regs, requirements in the once great u.k. Sad.
LOL! “Red top rag”! Will he be in trouble for dis/mis/mal-information speech
I go to the UK at least once a year and he’s correct. A little village near my inlaws called Finchingfield is soon getting a migrant camp and the locals are not too happy.
Behold the once-great British Empire, which at its peak encompassed 25% of the world’s land mass
It won’t be long before Scotland and Wales go their own way and all that’s left is a bankrupt, gray, eastern-European style petty dictatorship.
Empire has its price, especially when it falls apart.
I guess Jeremy is staying too change his mind about things?
For years he blasted some of the UK policies, but then made fun of us for our freedoms.
Maybe he’ll draw a connection to the tens of thousands of Amish that voted in Pennsylvania.
It seems to me Clarkson is a Brit patriot first and foremost.
he may be left of center, generally. But, even he can see that there will be Britan and British very soon. And he is fighting for that.
And it is tough to fight and grow $100/yr in vegetables on land that is woth millions and that the gov taxes $1000/yr.. And sees no value in producing food for the citizens.
Who’s going to feed him with no farmers. Can’t fix stupid.
But how will we feed the country? this is not important!
Development takes farmland because short sighted policies place no value on secure food production.
Clarkson's tongue is sharp on both edges and when his series Top Gear was still running I referred to him as "the automotive Don Rickles." He insulted everyone and everything ... with élan. Elon Musk sued him over scathing remarks he made about a Tesla he tested (on Top Gear) ... and lost.
After two decades as a fan of Clarkson the Despoiler it's hard for me to to imagine him as a "champion" of a cause but, irony of ironies, that does appear to be where he has positioned himself.
Crack on, Jezza!
Scotland is socialist and Wales is too small to amount to anything independant. England is the glue that holds them together. If England goes, they all do.
