President-elect Donald Trump’s landslide victory is reportedly causing infighting and division among House Democrats.
Democrats appear confused about why Trump won reelection in a landslide and moved 48 states to the right in the process.
The far left argues the party did not move far enough left, while establishment Democrats argue the push for far-left policies failed to attract voters.
One far-left House Democrat told Axios that “some real responsibility to be taken” by leadership in the establishment. “Just acting like we’re in a pep rally, saying, ‘You all did a good job. … I think it’s *&**^&^&. Let’s acknowledge that we failed.”

I don’t know the stats on congress critters who will have elections next time, but if all the states are moving to the right, some of those in congress MIGHT want to make reasonable accommodation with the majority party to get things passed for their states. Time for Democrats to reach across the aisle and agree with Republican programs.

At this point, people really need to stop apologizing. I think illegal immigrants are bad for the country. What are you going to do about that? I think transgenders are dangerous perverts. What are you going to do about that?
Likewise, if the other side tries to act superior because they have the “right” view on things or they fit into the “right” boxes, they need to be told that it isn’t true. You’re homosexual? That doesn’t give you moral superiority over me. You’re a feminist? That doesn’t give you moral superiority over me.

And yet, as if without a care in the world about its House majority, Team Trump is willing to sacrifice Stefanik’s seat to an uncertain future.
Some of those voters were fraudulent. Some probably thought that surely an elderly old white guy wouldn’t have the same castrate-your-sons type of mentality of the other democrats. If so, what they didn’t realize is when you vote Democrat, you get all of the ugly baggage no matter how attractive or sane the induvial candidate seems. (Biden was neither but he served as an apparent middle-of-the road candidate. And, best of all(sarcasm) he wasn’t the evil orange man.)
I agree with the extreme left of the democrats...they must go further left to win back voters. That AND include the Cheney’s more in their speeches.

Yeah, they kinda do think that. The gist of every one of Michelle Obama’s speeches this cycle was that *she*, Michelle Obama, would be very disappointed in you as a human being if you voted for Donald Trump.

My thoughts exactly.
Since some of the Democrat congressmen during the last few weeks of the campaign were airing adds saying they supported Donald Trump on “x” issue, and “y” issue, is it possible that the ones in toss-up districts will vote for some of Trump’s agenda in Bills? They have to run every two years and the votes will be a matter of record. Can’t wait to see the democrats splintered when it comes to votes on legislation the next two years.
