Elon Musk exerts deepening influence on Donald Trump’s presidential transition

Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club has been brimming in the last 48 hours with two kinds of people: those angling for a job in the president-elect’s incoming administration, and those trying to influence him into hiring their picks for the top spots.

But the one person who has loomed over it all and has exerted a great deal of influence is Elon Musk, according to multiple sources. The tech billionaire has been seen at the resort in Palm Beach, Florida, almost every day since Trump won the election last week, dining with him on the patio some evenings and hanging out with his family Sunday at the golf course.

Musk has been in the room when multiple world leaders have phoned Trump, and he’s weighed in on staffing decisions, with the SpaceX and Tesla CEO even making clear his preference for certain roles.

In one instance, Musk was with Trump at Mar-a-Lago when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called to congratulate the president-elect the day after the election, according to a source briefed on the call. Trump put the call on speaker, and Zelensky thanked Musk for his help providing communications to Ukraine through the billionaire’s Starlink internet service.

On Sunday, Musk waded into the GOP Senate leadership fight, endorsing Sen. Rick Scott after the Florida Republican swiftly backed Trump’s demand that anyone vying to be leader support recess appointments for his nominees — a way for presidents to attempt to bypass Congress that Senate Democrats could essentially block.

For a guy who has had a pretty good run so far, Elon is clearly having the time of his life.

I would say that the only fail of Musk’s that I can think of was giving StarLink to the piano player.

At least we know who Trump is listening to. It is out in the open. Who would be pulling Kamala’s strings if she had become President? We would never know. By the way, the same with Biden.

This guy spent a month reading 500 books on rocketry after returning from Moscow angry about how much the Russians wanted to charge him to send his first test craft into orbit. He is patient, analytical, emotionally-detached and savagely brilliant. And the Left is already ruing the day they decided to make him an enemy and drive him to MAGA.

Trump NEVER had much help in his first term.

He was dependent on Uniparty political hacks.

Musk is NOT a Uniparty political hack.

Plus Musk will not fill a paid position in the administration.

He can be an influencer yet Trump will not be his supervisor.

Musk can take a position on the Senate leader yet Trump can claim to be “neutral”.

>> He is patient, analytical, emotionally-detached and savagely brilliant.

May I add “transparent”? We know where Musk stands, because he tells us. And his deeds and his words align.

And the Left is already ruing the day they decided to make him an enemy and drive him to MAGA.

It started when the Biden Administration ignored Elon Musk and they were giving Detroit a lot of press regarding EVs even though they've done nothing at that point because Joe was trying to curry favor with the unions.

I think that was when Musk realized the extent of the corruption of our government and he knew that it was his priority #1 to make sure that they won't win reelection in 2024.

Then it got worse when the Democrats launched the Palace Coup against Joe Biden to install Kamala Harris without holding a primary.

“Elon Musk exerts deepening influence on Donald Trump’s presidential transition”

Elon Musk will never achieve the amount of influence that George Soros had over the Democrat party.

ONE hopeful point is President Trump and his team can do a proper transition this time

The Alt Left kept the election going until Dec in 2016. They had to do a rush transition which let to some real stinkers being picked

“2020 had to happen. Even though it was awful.”

The theft of the 2020 election was providential.
