Judge Clears Path for Fresh Evidence in Explosive Social Media Censorship Lawsuit Against Biden Administration [Missouri v. Biden]

The Western District of Louisiana’s US District Court has ruled in favor of the State of Missouri, allowing additional discovery in the significant Missouri v. Biden lawsuit, which scrutinizes government collaboration in social media censorship. This decision comes after the Supreme Court, in June, overturned a prior injunction, then-named Murthy v. Missouri, which had prohibited entities including the White House, CDC, FBI, CISA, and the Surgeon General’s office from pressing social media platforms to suppress speech protected under the Constitution.

The depth of the Biden Administration’s involvement in these censorial activities likely would have remained hidden without this lawsuit. Although the merits of the case were not evaluated by the Supreme Court’s majority, Justices Alito, Thomas, and Gorsuch did comment on the Plaintiffs’ claims, finding the government’s actions to be a breach of the First Amendment.

With the district court’s recent decision to expand discovery, the NCLA’s clients are positioned to demonstrate the necessary standing to meet the Supreme Court’s criteria and potentially succeed in their claims.

The Section 230 protections needs to be removed for every internet company that censored information. Once they censored information, they became Content Creators, not Content Providers.

I hope there is accountability and consequences.. We can’t have a government that is enemies of the people.. The government cannot run on political threats and actions against the citizens..
They need to do something about treason, also. The open border has been a crime against the citizens and against the United States of America.

I am not sure I get this. Because in a couple of months there isn’t going to be any Biden Administration. So then what?

In order to do that then the lawsuit would have to be against certain individuals. Or maybe a government department. But this seems to be against an entity that will no longer exist.

Garland and Holder were/are the worst AG’s for violating the laws of this country, and violating the Constitution.
Both should be hanging from a tree right now.

It’s a big issue no matter which party is in the White House. Federal agencies should NOT be contacting social media sites and telling them what information they should allow to be posted and which they should not. This is a big problem that should be addressed by the courts.
