“When we are too afraid to say that, ‘Hey, college kids, if you’re trashing a campus of Columbia University because you aren’t happy about some sort of policy and you’re taking over a university and you’re trashing it and preventing other students from learning that that is unacceptable.’ But we’re so worried about alienating one or another cohort in our coalition that we don’t know what to say,” Roginsky said.
Roginsky added that the party needed to “stop with the virtue signaling” and instead “speak to people like they’re normal.”

Expecting Democrats to be able to speak to and understand ‘normal people’ is about as likely as expecting Hitler’s SS to speak to and understand Jewish people.
I saw this. She was good. I also saw someone from the other end of the Party saying that their problem was that they caved to the middle and didn’t stress their most radical ideas.
It appears that the Democrat Party is in turmoil and has a lot of infighting.

Back around the year 2000 a survey was taken of the net wealth of the Dems and Pubbies in the House and Senate. At that time the Pubbies had a combined net wealth of about $400 million. The Dems had $1.2 billion.
Who’s the party of the rich and wealthy?
I can’t remember if it was her or some other Democrat activist, but someone castigated the Democrat Party’s treatment of the common man who was trying to make ends meet by emphasizing the right of a man past the age of puberty to play in women’s sports. Another one said that they were perceived as elitist when they talked down to those without a college degree. Another one said that the Party was out of touch, because those higher up in the Party made a lot of money and weren’t hurt nearly as much by inflation as the typical middle class person.
There have been some really good comments by the sane portion of the Democrat Party. Maybe there is still hope for our country.
Thereby admitting that their base does not consist of normal people.
Progressives are possessed by a wish to arrest normal people who possess common sense.
The crazies took over the party. There’s no way out.

Explaining Kommie’s loss doesn’t require a PhD from MIT. She lost because the majority of middle class and working class Americans understand that the country’s broken and the it was The Big Guy and Kommie who broke it. And they also remember $1.99 a gallon gas....and $1.99 a gallon milk only a few short years ago.
Next time, Democrats should have a primary.
When will they finally tell people “killing babies is immoral and evil”? That’s when they’ll know they have reclaimed common sense.

This mirrors what happens with D.E.I. in corporations.
The parasites begin to destroy the host but the problem in making major corrections is to admit there needs to be a correction and - worse - the people in charge now running the show are there because of the D.E.I.
So how does, say, Kamala do away with the system that got her there?
Dems aren’t going to ‘turn their backs on LGBTQI+’ folks or abortion to and past birth supporters because that’s what left of their party.
They’re also losing the Boomer hippie middle of the road old union typical Democrats. Dying off.
Failure to have an open Democrat convention and select an actual nominee is the problem they had.
A WI / PA / MI Bill Clinton / Joe Biden down home guy fake working class who could hide the far left liberalism would have been difficult for Trump to beat.
