The ex-wife and son of the founder of the Oath Keepers are expressing concern that their safety could be compromised if former President Trump pardons Stewart Rhodes in a potential second term.
Rhodes was convicted of seditious conspiracy and sentenced to 18 years in prison for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, riots at the Capitol. The Oath Keepers are seen as one of the main groups involved in the attack. Trump has said he would pardon rioters from that day should he win the White House.
In an interview with USA Today, Rhodes’s ex-wife, Tasha Adams, said she fears the safety of herself and her six children might be at risk should Stewart be free from behind bars.
“He is somebody that had a kill list — always,” she said. “And obviously, now I’m on this list, and so are some of my kids, I’m sure.”

Trump has said he would pardon NON-VIOLENT rioters ................
It would appear that one or the other of them violated the collalary to Murphy’s law.
And I think it was Enrico Torres, of the Proud Boys, who got 24 years and he wasn’t even there
And The Hill expects their readers to count it as a credible source.
I forgot about that one I do apologize
Of course those are needed to be pardoned
There should be a “pardon commission” the list is so long.
I know it’s done on a case-by-case basis usually but easy to forget folks especially those who aren’t as prominent.
Also remember Ross Ulbrect (sp) will be free when Trump takes office... He is serving a double life term.
Rhodes sounds like a nut if his kids are to be believed.
She and the kids could hike down to Venezuela and apply for asylum.
Tasha Rhodes and Dakota Adams accused Stewart Rhodes of abuse in the interview with USA Today.
“I get an immediate adrenaline spike from heavy footsteps on a floor above me, because that was the key that Stewart had woken up from a 12 hour prescription painkiller nap and was coming downstairs to scream at everybody,” said Adams, who is running for the state Legislature as a Democrat in Montana.
The family is also trying to save money and raise awareness for their own safety.
i love playing “loathsome media bingo” each day by looking at what laughable reason the low-T “journalists” pick as sufficient reason(s) to hate the Trumpster. On a slow day, there’ll be at least two separate articles, neither of which would rate a D- from a technical or intellectual standpoint. On a great day, the number of articles balloons, with the resulting quality being an inverse function of the number of articles.
I don’t know the Rhodes background story, but The Hill is not a credible source.
That’s the way it should be.
Non-Violent SHOULD get a pardon.
That’s what I’ve heard, too.
He was not even in the capitol on Jan 6th.
Hes going to kill his family? Give me a break! Stuart Rhodes is a patriot who got rail roaded in the worst way. He needs a full pardon.
Yup he’s a very mild mannered guy and probably wouldn’t hurt a fly
More J6 propaganda
I have to say I am sorry if she is worried but he isn’t imprisoned for harming her. It is not valid to use a different crime as a pretext to keep someone incarcerated because he might commit a crime. She has legal recourse in the justice system to request restraining orders or other remedies. That’s between her and him and the state courts where she lives. Nobody should be jailed for the January 6 protests except the government agents who fomented the offenses for which the protesters were caught up in.
