Traditionally in this municipality, ITGRC, the rabbi considers and decides, and the rest dutifully fall in line. Be skeptical if you wish, but block voting has reportedly gotten them pre-election attention, and post-election results.

When the whacky Hassidum and Amish are voting for the other guy, you really need to listen and learn. Both are all about the concerns of God. If they feel they need to insert themselves into the matters of men, it’s because those men are in conflict with the word/s and concerns of God.

Turns out the Jewish vote in NYS was 1% more Trump than Gentiles (45 vs. 44).

Not there yet, but it breaks the 40% record of Eisenhower and Reagan (39%).
I do not go to enough services, but whenever I go to services I go to the Orthodox services. The reform and conservative branches of Judaism lack the structure I appreciate.
