State Houses of Representatives:
2,938 Republicans; 2,423 Democrats; 52 third party or vacant (54% Republican, 45% Democrat)
State Senates:
1,114 Republicans; 843 Democrats; 16 third party or vacant (56% Republican, 43% Democrat)
State Governors:
27 Republicans; 23 Democrats (54% Republican, 46% Democrat)
US House of Representatives:
220 Republicans; 212 Democrats; 3 vacant (51% Republican, 49% Democrat)
US Senate:
51 Democrats; 49 Republicans (51% Democrat, 49% Republican)
But this is where the country stands currently.

Who does the “nonpartisan” and/or “3rd party” members caucus? My guess would be the Dems.

The non-partisan chambers are Nebraska (which has only one legislative chamber, not two) The other one is Alaska I think, because it’s even.
The 3rd party are independent members, that is not Republican or Democrat. They call themselves independent or green or whatever.
