A Massachusetts resident is angry after receiving a fraudulent campaign postcard in the mail. The Shrewsbury woman says it arrived after she put a sign supporting Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in front of her home.
"I put a lawn sign in my front yard," said the woman, who did not want to be identified. "I don't think I should be subjected to these fraudulent mailers."
The 50-year-old never imagined she would be subjected to a political dirty trick after putting up the sign.
"It really creeped me out," she said.
She was dismayed when the mail arrived this week and she received the postcard. It purports to be from the Harris campaign, thanking her for putting up a sign, and alerting her a family from Nicaragua would be moving into her home.
"That's when I realized it was an obvious attempt to try to either scare me or rage bait me and make me upset," she said.

My wife is pro life and puts in 15 or more hours a week into helping those who choose to let their kids live.
My mom is Catholic and against homosexual sex but took care of AIDS victims as a volunteer when she was a nurse way back.
You either believe in something and support it or you don’t.
If I didn’t dislike them so much, I would pity dems...they are soulless and lost, at least some.
The rest are just plain evil and/or incredibly stupid

I would not do this. It could be judged to be harassment and could be a federal crime.
Generally speaking, when harassing or stalking behavior involves the internet, mail, or activities that cross state lines, the crime can be charged as a federal offense.
During the Vietnam War, in my hometown, parents whose kids were killed in action would get anonymous phone calls from leftists, antiwar types, taunting them over their dead soldier children, that the callers were so glad their kids were dead and how they deserved to be in Hell because they were murderers and terrorists for fighting there. Sick stuff.
Probably a Good Samaritan giving her a heads-up so she keeps her 20 cats in the house. They meant well I’m sure. ;)

It’s just a prank. A joke. The hyperbole this election cycle is so over the top.
FWIW quite a number of people with yard signs have gotten various kinds of things in the mail. Both sides. If you put a yard sign out, someone could drive by and write down your street number.
