Hamas has once again refused to release the hostages it has been holding in Gaza since its attack on Israel last October, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.
The State Department on Monday released a readout following a call between Blinken and Abdelatty, which took place on Sunday and which dealt with the situation in the Middle East and Sudan.
“The Secretary noted that Hamas has once again refused to release even a limited number of hostages to secure a ceasefire and relief for the people of Gaza,” said State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller, who added that Blinken “discussed the importance of establishing a path for the post-conflict period that provides governance, security, and reconstruction.”

Do mini-Entebbes all over Gaza, and rescue whomever you can. Kill anyone who opposes your rescue operation.
Give Hamas an ultimatum, reciting these terms, giving them five minutes to surrender, and then just go balls to the walls. Diplomacy by other means indeed.
I can’t believe this idiot is admitting his buddies at Hamas won’t release hostages. This moron should be traded for a hostage. Too bad he’s worthless.
[KABOOM!] [singing] Doncha know he's riding on the Baraachit express...
This idiot truly believes there can be a diplomatic peace agreement with these savages.
They won’t release them because most of them are dead and the rest are witnesses.
You can’t get anything by that Blinken guy.
It should first be emphasized that Hamas isn't, hasn't, and never will negotiate in good faith, just takes captives (they aren't hostages) then claiming it can't produce them because it doesn't know where they are.
Then kill every last one of the bastards. And demolish every ****ing building in Gaza, and finish off any remaining cross-border smuggling tunnels.
And each time some supposedly civilized country's gov't complains about the destruction, expel 10,000 Arab squatters from Gaza.
Too easy. Lay siege to Gaza. Give up the hostages while facing deadlines. 1st week, no food allowed into Gaza. If hostages released, delay other deadlines. Otherwise, 2nd week no fuel or electricity allowed into Gaza. If hostages released, delay other deadlines. Otherwise, 3rd week no water allowed into Gaza. In the 4th week IDF will clear all of Gaza.
Israel will make a humanitarian sacrifice by allowing outsiders into Gaza during the siege to visit insiders; one way only you go in you stay in, except for those escorting hostages out of Gaza.
They won’t just complain. They’ll do an arms embargo, like they did in ‘48. I’m all for a full-on assault on Hamas, but it has to be focused, and at the same time provide a mechanism for providing food to Gazan civilians independent of Hamas. If Hamas/UNRWA gets to distribute it, you’ll never be shut of them.
This war has already gone on for too long. We have to finish Hamas and finish them quickly. Grand nephew of mine just enlisted. I want the war over and done with before he gets out of boot camp. His mother is in agony. So are all the other mothers, some of them weeping for their children because they are not.
I like the way you think. Israel is the source of 100% of Gaza utilities. I said they should have cut off all electric etc. on Oct. 8th. Eventually all internet , cell phones etc would go dead and the rest of the world would only have what Israel chooses to support. No one within Gaza could communicate with the rest of the world. Israel could completely dictate th me narrative. Of course you have to turn power on eventually, but all communications, satellites, cell phone , etc is jammed. Those tunnels would suck without power.
They’ll sober up when the 10,000 expelled Gazans arrive on their shores.
Use Bidens pier to dock boats to send everyone in Gaza to Mogadishu.
Would you say, he is as sharp as the leading edge of a bowling ball?
I watched a video yesterday about the ten worst filthy countries on Earth. Places like India, Bangla Desh, Somalia, etc. Surprised me that Saudi Arabia is on the list. It would be an easy task to ship Gazans to nearby Saudi Arabia. Lots of land (largest in the M.E.), the country is oil rich, muslim, and Gazans could live in filthy circumstances that they’re used to living in. Alternatively, they could go to Yemen just to the south where they would be welcomed.
Ann Landers advice columnist said (what I recall) “ when someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time”.
You know!? ... I would say that. lol :)
Maybe if you hold your breath until you turn blue?
For the most part, he failed, thank G*d.
They’ll blend right in with the rest of the horde of invaders, and these idiots will never “sober up”. Two-tier? Brandon? Macron? They don’t do “sober up”.
Trying to get the Palis as far away from Israel as possible.
