Leftists Accuse Gorsuch Of Caring Too Much About Normal People And Not Enough About Bureaucrats- Mollie Hemingway
The Federalist ^ | Nov. 4, 2024 | Mollie Hemingway

Just one more case to be presented if the corporate media ever truly cares to find out why the American people hate them so much, why we don't trust them and why we don't believe a word they say. ANY time I see a republican being interviewed by one of these "enemies of the people", I jump immediately to the conclusion that the republican will be smeared, remarks taken out of context and lied about. I KNOW there will be nothing fair about the interview. I do not believe that we should EVER violate the 1st- even letting them do what they do and say what they say- it was meant to protect them as well as the rest of us. Just NEVER let THEM get to the point where they have any power over what WE can say. AND I also believe that these smear merchants should be WIDE OPEN to personal lawsuits for slander and defamation for the dirty work they do. Protecting them because they are "just doing their job" should never cover for a biased operative who is TRYING to destroy an opponent in favor of a political party. That is EXACTLY what they are doing. It seems, according to their ratings and readership numbers, that the American people are getting pretty good at "enemy identification" and willing to readily reject, out of hand, anything they have to say.

Pretty much tells you all you need to know. It’s Big Government versus the Tax Payers. Tax Payer’s are being milked like Gertrude the Cow. Might as well call this new MAGA party the Holstein Party.

13Sisters76 -

MH does an excellent job of the moving landscape surrounding Associate Justice Gorsuch. He is all over the direction the country was meant to travel, and the direction needed to return to the path. “Overruled” is an excellent book that quietly gets under the skin of big state, wrong direction, bureaucrats. It is an excellent read.

Jacquerie - I thought you may be interested in MH’s assessment of the treatment of Justice Gorsuch after his recent book, as we discussed in another thread. MH hits a grand slam (only because there can’t be anything offensively greater in baseball). I didn’t tell you in the other thread, but this semi-retired lawyer was exposed to Justice Gorcuch’s book by a nephew that is West Point, Army Ranger, retired after three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, because of Obama and his policies in Afgh. He retired at 36 years old and a Captain. He was fed up with the Left and its peccadilloes. Write me a PM to get a copy of “Overruled” as it may be hard to get at the library.

Just a few more days (according to some forecasts about slow ballot counting) until the stars will align once again in the constellations. until then, (and ever after), stay safe, stay vigilant, stay prepared. The battle is always upon us.

The funny part of all this is that is was not someone on the right or Trump that originated the term 'Fake News'. It was used by the left to accuse the alt/right media of misinformation.

After spending 5 minuets scratching our heads, the right set about cataloging the tens of thousands of examples of lefts 'fake news'.

It took only a small amount of work to expose the complete hypocrisy of the left. They through they could get the term to attach to the right only to have it stick to them. In less than 72 hours their entire 'narrative' was forever shattered.

I bet they wish they could have a do over.

People need to read the Declaration of Independence.

A good portion of why we broke free was that the crown was engaging in what we today call lawfare. They were imposing laws we had not approved of, imposing those laws with far harsher means then they warranted and allowing the enforcers to run amok with no punishment when they crossed the line.

They were also striking down local laws and offering bounties on the heads of those who tried to move away from the reach of the crown using the citizens of other nations.

Does any of this sound familiar?

You think we revolted over taxes?

Oh no my dear. We revolted over much more than that.

Thanks about Overruled, but I expect it will soon be in my local library system.
