State officials in favor of allowing undated ballots to be counted argue the change would make process easier for election workers. The Pennsylvania Department of State filed a brief in favor of the change prior to the court's ruling on Friday.
I’m confused. I thought the “judgeys” dealt the GOP “a blow” yesterday. Which is it? Anybody know?
Marc Elias is fuming and searching for a Federal Judge who will vacate this.
Different issue yesterday
I live here and am confused. I saw that last night and was disheartened. Now I see this. What to believe?
I thought the other thing covered more issues and was put out by the USSC. This is from the PA SC. The USSC is mostly for vote fraud.
They didn’t seem to be in the VA case.
Great.
There have been multiple issues before both the PA Supreme Ct. and the U.S. Supreme Ct. Repubs have generally done ok, but you never get 100%.
Poll workers are going to have lots of writer’s cramp filling out dates for dem-voted ballots.
VOTE FRAUD STARTS WITH REGISTRATION FRAUD & CONTINUES THRU THE ACTUAL BALLOT
The Pennsylvania Department of State filed a brief in favor of the change prior to the court’s ruling on Friday.>>> Who is a republican. THey only said they didn’t like changing the laws “during the pending election” not to say they will allow the change to the law next week.
The US Supremes were said to have done that. This is about the Pennsy Supreme Court.
Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
So, which group of aho “judgey’s” wins? The “media mafia” usually doesn’t specify which “supreme court” they are talking about in their articles these days.
SCOTUS voted against the pubbies, the PA Supreme Court voted for the pubbies.
Not all "judgeys" are the same, stop flying and read stuff.
I’ve already been told that by another freeper and explained why I was confused. Stop freezing and read stuff.
Had the same confusion FWF, albeit only briefly before reading further and figuring out that the two articles were talking about two entirely separate Pennsylvania-centered legal disputes.
The one the Pubbies lost before SCOTUS yesterday had to do with whether and under what circumstances so-called “provisional” ballots may be counted in Pennsylvania.
This one, which the Pubbies won before the PA Supreme Court, would’ve been a big loss if it had gone the Donkey Party’s way. The question was about mail-in ballots bearing no marking for the date the ballot was filled out. The question being, whether to ignore that flaw and count that ballot, or throw that ballot out.
It’s easy for election workers now: toss out or impound the undated ballots and don’t count them.
And it is nonsense like this that reinforces my impression of the judiciary as a bunch of pretend intellectuals who are in fact silly and ridiculous, but who hold serious power.
There needs to be better ways to get sane competent people to fill these jobs. We need better judges.
