Agroup of illegal immigrants from South America was indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly using construction crew disguises, blowtorches and cellphone jammers, among other "sophisticated tactics," to rob banks across multiple states of more than $4 million in cash, according to federal prosecutors.

The crew, made up mostly of Chilean nationals, targeted more than 29 banks and credit unions throughout California, Oregon and Washington between May and October, U.S. Attorney Phillip A. Talbert announced.

According to court documents, the group mapped out ATMs in "vulnerable locations," then rented short-term vacation properties nearby and used cars they rented on the "black market.",,,

Authorities released pictures of the alleged bank robbery bandits dressed as construction crew workers sporting hard hats, surgical masks and high-visibility safety vests. ...

construction crew disguises

Halloween prank. I won't be surprised if they face no serious penalty.

Just coming here to make a better life for themselves.

Chile is a beautiful country filled with natural resources. The smart people leave and the idiots left behind keep voting for commies.

...but we didnt arrest or bother anyone for the entire time we have had them under surveillance.

I thought the IFB handled bank robberies? That was their original charter?

That was just the one. The other was a cop, and one was an Indian and one was a faggot.

If the crew had used a cutting torch instead of a blow torch, they would been more efficient and reduced their time on location at each robbery site.

*Blow torches are old tech for heating things up.

A Rosebud is a whole different animal for the job it is intended for.

If they had done a ATM job in Massachusetts, they would have had a union state trooper on site, sitting in his state vehicle for traffic control.

*Reference movie Heist.

And my observations studying the natives of Massachusetts for two years.

Are they sure those aren’t the same “construction crew” guys who tried to break into a Republican congressman’s office in the Capitol a while back because he was doing too much investigating?

Not sure if it is the same group or some other criminal enterprise:

“...In the years that followed, Tren de Aragua’s operations expanded to the rest of the country. They now commit cybercrimes, illicit retail-drug sales, kidnappings, and migrant trafficking, according to Insight Crime.
The gang successfully fought for control of La Parada, a Colombian border town through which many Venezuelan migrants passed on their way to the United States. By 2023, they had established headquarters or cells in Colombia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, and Brazil. Now, authorities believe they are operating in the United States....”

From another thread back in April 2024:

...Chilean gangs are taking advantage of the U.S. Visa Waiver Program and are coming to the U.S. just to burglarize luxury homes.

The U.S. Visa Waiver Program allows tourists to enter America for 90 days or less.

The gangs are very well equipped and use wifi-jammers to disrupt security systems.

The international thugs recently robbed a neighborhood in Michigan and stole $800,000 in jewelry and cash from a single home.

“They are super well-trained when they get here, highly organized. They look like ninjas they’re all masked up, gloves. They each have a backpack with their particular set of tools for their job in the burglary,” said Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard.

The gangs are targeting homes throughout the country, especially in Southern California....
