The gunman who opened fire on a Jewish man walking to synagogue in Chicago is an illegal migrant from West Africa who was released into the US last year — and he targeted the victim because of his faith, law enforcement sources tell The Post.
Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi, 22 — who hails from Mauritania — crossed into San Diego in March 2023 and was screened by border agents, who quickly released him into the US, officials said.
Federal investigators believe Abdallahi was specifically targeting Jews in an antisemitic attack when he ambushed a 39-year-old Orthodox Jewish man in the city’s West Ridge neighborhood — which is home to several synagogues, sources said.
The gunman was then reportedly caught on video shouting “Allahu Akbar” before opening fire on police — who critically wounded him in a shootout.
The Cook County prosecutor has sparked outrage from the Windy City’s Jewish community after Abdallahi was not charged with a hate crime.

In his pre-teens He was raised and educated as a Muslim, while living in Indonesia. So what can one expect? I am still amazed that Americans went so soft, to elect this foreign Muslim saboteur, 7 years after the 911 attack.
In his school in Indonesia the students were a mix of religions. Obama went to Islam class at least once a week. Others students went to Catholic class etc.

There’s another legitimate reason to claim one was facing persecution in Mauritania. I had female genital mutilation, apostasy from Islam, being homosexual. And now, escaping slavery.
Mauritania is not a country in conflict.
And anyone who makes it here has some resources, so he is not an escaped slave.
90% or more have to be young men looking for adventure and wealth, practicing Muslims claiming their bit of ground.
Unfair. He should have ambushed a 39-year-old Liberal -- or at least Reformed -- Democrat-voting Jewish man.

I think compared to its recent past, that is true, but it’s hardly stable.
It’s really been a dump since the Arabs invaded in the 1600s. During the middle ages, it was a bit of a shinning star for Africa. After the Arabs came in, not so much.
A .45ACP bullet to this illegals noggin’ would permanently solve this particular issue.
