When a speaker at Donald Trump's wild Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday compared Puerto Rico to a 'floating island of garbage' it sparked outrage.
But wall-to-wall media coverage of the incident involving comedian Tony Hinchcliffe appears not to have changed many minds when it comes to voting.
Just 0.7 percent of the electorate have a more negative view of Trump following the incident, which happened during a five-hour MAGA marathon in the heart of Manhattan.

I would think that Puerto Ricans laughed the loudest just because garbage is Puerto Rico’s #1 problem.

I believe the “comedian” was a democrat plant. He was put there by democrats to “prove” that Trump’s rally was a nazi rally. Remember Charlottesville.
The dems have put all their energy into calling the rally “nazi.” Kam, Joe, and the usual democrats are yelling and screaming “Trump nazi”. The leftist media is helping them promote that idea. They are desperate and will do anything. This is their last shot.
Trump did not know about this “comedian.” I don’t recall any other rally having a “comedian.” His “joke” was totally out of place.
It was staged to create the media frenzy that we are seeing now.

This was hugely damaging. The MSG rally should have given Trump a bump in the polls like a convention typically does. To have to hard work of so many be overshadowed by that idiot was a huge blow that mitigated what could have been a knockout punch.
In very tight races in Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, and Wisconsin, the “joke” could be very costly to Trump, even if only a few Hispanics decide to change their votes. And it doesn’t matter whether we were offended ourselves.
It will take nearly a week to register or have any influence on the polling. The election will be over before we know.
Biden has decided to support Trump, after Trump said he might pardon Hunter. Biden’s garbage statement has overwhelmed the comedian at MSG calling Puerto Rico ‘island of garbage.’
Who’s idea was it to put that guy up there?

I still say this is a great opportunity for President Trump to praise his Puerto Rican employees past and present.
It was a joke.
Those, who don’t think so, were never voting Trump anyway.
Eff them if they can’t take a joke.
If they hear it it won’t matter they already believe it as well, but media will just laugh off ole joe
That .07% weren’t going to vote for him anyway.
