If you’re a physician and a neighbor asks you a medical question, you’re probably happy to share your professional expertise. If you’re a heating and cooling contractor and a friend asks you about her furnace, you likely do the same. In that spirit, I think it’s time for business people to share what we know about immigration: that it powers economic growth and provides many other benefits to the country.
At a time when many politicians are falsely scapegoating immigration for society’s ills — crime, housing shortages, labor issues and more — people with experience working alongside immigrants, employing them and relying on them for the success of their business should speak up and set the record straight.

The result of non enforcement of immigration laws in our Republic has made the building trades a hell hole for an independent trying to survive in a field where these illegals work for a quarter to half of what is even considered decent money. You are paying for it in terms of higher taxes, insurance premiums, et cetera. Some estimates place the net costs of each illegal alien in the country at $50,000 – $100,000. (FYI: 12,000,000 X $50,000 = $600,000,000,000) When the all the indirect costs are factored in, it is probably even higher. In any case, it is a cost that YOU are paying for.

So explain to me how poverty stricken; uneducated; spanish speaking people create jobs.
and yes there are many jobs I do not like to do (cleaning toilets, taking out trash, mopping the floor); but I still do them. Oh; and illegal immigrants do not like doing them either.
Nearly 70% of both immigrants and illegal invaders are on gov $$, some to the tune of $45,000 a year as they exploit all the “free stuff” they can get from gov handouts- (note, that $45,000 figure was also from decades ago, so it is likely even higher today)
