ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– Known as Proposition 1 on the ballot, the Equal Rights Amendment would change the state constitution to expand discrimination protections to more people. That includes age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, and pregnancy outcomes.
“I think most New Yorkers think we do have these rights,” said Senator Liz Krueger. “And we’ve passed many laws that say we have these rights. The dilemma is, if you end up in a discrimination lawsuit, and a court says we don’t see that in the constitution, we don’t have that right.”
Supporters of the amendment say that adding pregnancy outcomes, it would codify abortion in the state’s constitution.

I would guess that this will open up charges for someone who refuses to call someone by their Gender Identity. We already know what the courts in NY have done to Trump. So they are up for anything.
That’s a man, baby!
Ten bucks says that she’s never had an unwanted pregnancy...or a wanted one.
All of it is pretty bad, but the “sexual (or any) identity” is absolutely literally insane.
Most things wrong with NYS can be said to have come from the minds and actions of people just like Liz.
Completely detached from the common citizen by wealth, privilege, and powerful connections her entire life.
Vote “Hell NO!” on prop 1, and tell Fat Liz to go to scratch.
They do not know what they are voting for, or the Pandora Box they will be opening
[That’s a man, baby!]
That’s THREE MEN, baby!
vote NO NY
‘...in [his or her] civil rights...’
Oop, what about us ‘zis and zers’, etc.?
It’ll pass with flying colors. NY is a completely lost cause.
Already done in NYC several years ago. Their law can assess a fine of up to $250,000 for deliberately "misgendering" someone.
Now I just saw a post that shows that the dem candidates for state supreme court(9th district) justice in NY are listed on the ballot as both democrat and “conservative”. The republicans are only listed as republican. Five of them. That is fraud IMO. The democrats will do anything to win in NY.
Leftard women have their YES on Prop 1 signs all over the place. 19th should be repealed!
