He also states that Christians have a moral obligation not to abstain from voting during this critical election. Viganò asserts that “in this war, declaring oneself neutral means allying oneself with the enemy.” Includes Archbishop Viganò’s open letter in full.

His Excelency needs to check with Francis. The latter has no problem entertaining proponents of infanticide at the Vatican even if, like President Biden, they have poopy pants when they come calling

So aligning yourself with the chemical abortion nominee is a righteous act? He was probably pushing the COVID vax, saying it’s okay to burn cities but no choir too.

His Excellency +Carlo Maria Vigano has been “excommunicated” by Mr. Bergoglio the manifest preacher of heresy and committer of public idolatry ... for the heinous crime of “Being Catholic”.

He was probably pushing the COVID vax, Who is the antecedent of "he" in your statement above? Be very careful that you don't bear false witness.

We are voting for the prevention of evil, not for Trump’s errors. Also, Trump governs better than he talks on pro-life. Besides the Court picks, he cancelled Title X funding for Planned Parenthood. He has Taylor Marshall as his Catholic advisor.

So aligning yourself with the chemical abortion nominee is a righteous act?Neither candidate is desirable from a pro-life standpoint. But appointing Supreme Court justices that ruled on the truth and overturned Roe is a start.
And when both candidates support measures that are antilife, then one makes a decision based on whoever one estimates to be closer to the desired position.
And if things are equal or close to it on the right to life issues, one evaluates all other issues in light of their faith and votes accordingly.
To sit out the election because there is no solidly prolife candidate is immoral.
The perfect is the enemy of the good.

IN this particular Presidential Election:
Mr. Trump is mediocre on “life issues”.
Komrade Kamala is demonically evil on “life issues”.
Choose wisely.

Absolutely! Catholics and our Christian brothers and sisters must stand united when facing inherent evil. And facing the ignorant and dimwitted that maybe unknowingly side with evil. Positive reinforcement this time.
j.havenfarm and NorthMountain and others come on, let’s sew a little unity rather than your kneejerk defamation of individuals...
Try to resist the attack and keep focused...

Direct quote from the open letter. "But in this coming electoral round – just as in 2020 and indeed much more so – you are not simply called to choose between two candidates who happen to be on different political sides but who both nevertheless have the common good at heart in compliance with the Constitution and the law."
"No; in this election, you must choose between two radically opposed ways of conceiving the government of your nation: you are called to choose between democracy and dictatorship, between freedom and slavery."

GOOD!
You’re voting for “transgender” rights and abortion if you vote for Harris.
We don’t get to pick and choose what we like about Catholicism.
We’re not forced to belong :)

Savannah, thank you, no. Francis is guilty of the sin of syncretism and he’s obstinate in that sin in repeatedly encouraging the display of a South American idol in churches and participating in at least one public ceremony with the idol present. In recently saying all religions lead to God he committed heresy: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.”
Sticking to abortion only, he has welcomed every degenerate American politician abortion proponent to the Vatican without a word of reproach. He has infinite graciousness for leftist hacks of all stripes, but comes down like a ton of bricks in people who disagree with him.
I do not pretend to be a saint, but I am a practicing Catholic who attends Mass every week and prays the rosary every day. Francis is a disaster and a disgrace, and the day the Lord calls him can’t come soon enough. He is richly deserving of all the scorn that can be heaped on him
