HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating an apparent double murder-suicide in northeast Harris County where three people, including two brothers, were shot and killed during what officials are calling a domestic dispute among neighbors Thursday evening.
Officials said it started in the 11700 block of S. Spicewood Lane around 11 p.m. when a woman and her boyfriend were fighting.
HCSO said during the argument that the woman took her two children to the home next door where three brothers lived for safety reasons. Police said they were unclear about how well the men knew the woman but were told that the woman felt safe enough to go there for help.
The woman's boyfriend then came over, where he was confronted by the three brothers outside. Police said that is when the boyfriend reportedly pulled out a gun and fatally struck 2 of them.
HCSO said one of the three brothers also pulled out a weapon and returned fire at the suspect, who ran back to the home where he shared with the woman.
HCSO said that shortly after, the woman's boyfriend then turned the gun on himself once deputies arrived. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the two brothers who were killed were in their 30s and 50s.
While looking at the scene, deputies said this was not the first time law enforcement was called to this home. Officials said just a few days earlier, there had been a family violence call between the woman and the boyfriend, but details on the incident were limited.
No names have been released of the victims, and officials said the surviving brother, the woman, and her two kids are said to be OK and are cooperating with law enforcement.
What is it with these people? Why can’t they seem to stay “above the fray”? Being a hot-head is one thing, but they cave in to violent aggression at the drop of a hat.

It is news and I thank the poster for posting it.
I am not sleeping well at night so will log onto YouTube and watch short videos until I can go back to sleep. I am in disbelief at multiple videos that show the behavior of these animals all over the US. One woman rammed another woman at a coffee shop, called the police and told them the white woman (who she rammed) called her the n-word, threw a drink at her car and then rammed HER. THEN she claimed to have back injuries so she could sue the woman for her injuries.
Thankfully, the wrongfully accused had front and back dash cams which shut down every single accusation. If she hadn’t, this woman could have been imprisoned for a very long time, her reputation would have been destroyed and she possibly could have faced financial ruin!!!! The black woman was arrested and was screaming ‘her facts’ even though she was told there was video that proved otherwise. The black woman then instructed the policemen and other LE about the charges and how they need to downgrade them. Oh, and her family showed up at the scene and tried to tell the policemen what had happened even though they weren’t even there.

This is just one of many like this. I see videos on them shoplifting as a family - with most of the women being pregnant - and am almost depressed at the prospect of this becoming more the norm in our country. Certainly not saying it is all of them but no one seems to be batting an eye at this behavior and it is becoming more widespread.

I’ve seen that kind of thing too. They start off by talking AT the cops ALL at the same time, so as to confuse and jerk them around.
In my work I came to understand that alcohol...and drugs...can turn some basically reasonable guys into dangerous punks. Of course one can also be a dangerous punk when completely clean and sober.
