American Arab and Muslim Political Action Committee Endorses Jill Stein for President

The American Arab and Muslim Political Action Committee endorsed Green Party nominee Dr. Jill Stein on Thursday, describing the endorsement as a reflection of the group’s “values and priorities, rather than any consideration of gender or faith.” The group had previously endorsed now-Democratic President Joe Biden in 2020.

In a press release, AMPAC stated, “This election cycle presents unique challenges, prompting AMPAC to reassess its traditional support for candidates from the two major parties. After extensive dialogue with both the Harris and Trump campaigns, we found no commitment to addressing the urgent concerns of our community, particularly the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.”

AMPAC further explained that neither campaign presented a viable solution for a ceasefire, leading the organization to instead back the Green Party presidential nominee. The then group praised Stein for her “steadfast commitment to peace, justice, and a call for immediate ceasefires in conflict zones,” before calling on the Arab and Muslim communities to support candidates whose platforms align with their “principles and priorities.”

According to AMPAC, it is an advocacy group focused on advancing the interests of the American Arab and Muslim communities through education, empowerment, and mobilization. The group is based in Dearborn, Michigan, which, as of 2023, is the largest U.S. city with an Arab-majority population. Notably, Stein has also hosted several campaign events in Dearborn this cycle and previously approached its mayor about joining her presidential ticket.

In addition to endorsing the Green Party’s presidential ticket, AMPAC produced a sample ballot on its website that indicates the group is supporting Green candidate Douglas Marsh for Michigan’s U.S. Senate seat, Democrat Rashida Tlaib in her reelection bid for Congress, and a mix of Democratic, Green, and Republican candidates for down-ballot races next month.

David Duke also has endorsed her. Must be a Jew-hating Jew. Or at least an Israel-hating Jew.
