Breitbart ^ | 10/16/2024 | Nick Gilbertson

More Americans either identify as Republicans or align more with the GOP than Democrats, according to Gallup polling.

When asked whether they identify as Republicans, Democrats, or independents, 31 percent of respondents answered Republican, 28 percent said Democrat, and 41 percent chose independent.

When those independents were pressed on which party they lean toward and those results were included in the full sample, 49 percent of all respondents either identified as Republicans or said they leaned toward the GOP, versus 42 percent who either identified as Democrats or leaned that way.

I hope that’s true. I’m in the blue part of Ohio where the retardation is rampant.

For as long as I’ve been alive, I remember Democrats consistently outstripping Republicans by at least 5 points.

I think Dems have gotten so extremely insane the past decade that the half-reasonable ones are finally jumping ship, and the blue-dog WWII generation is almost completely dying off. A generation who doesn’t know who FDR is.

While I like this kind of news, remember who we are talking about. Spineless Republicans who $h!t and P!$$ themselves when Dems bark. So what if they win a majority, most are deep state and won’t lift a finger to help Trump if he wins.

Seems like that’s the highest I’ve seen the Independents percentage. 28% is rather low for the Democrats given how they vote in the elections.

And which side of this equation is most fired up and enthusiastic that their candidate is their best possible hope for a brighter future?

It’s not the Kamala crowd.

More “Feel Good”. Won’t matter... It has already been decided.

Proof that Republicans need to make this election about the Democrats as a party, how they’re ruining America, and how to make America great again. Personal attacks and threats to get even with Trump’s enemies will get us no votes.

My Dad is a Hubert Humphrey Liberal. For the first time EVER he is NOT voting for a Drmocrat for President. NONE of my Liberal family are. The know that the party has been taken over by leftist lunatics.

Like those Buick commercials. “This isn’t you grandfather’s Democrat Party anymore.”

I remember talking about Al Gore and his anti-gun policies with some democrat construction workers (Union) as they were discussing an upcoming hunting trip. They didn’t know anything about them as I calmly discussed it. They said they would look into it.

Sadly even the old-time working class salt-of-the earth democrats have bought into the “assault weapons are dangerous” crap. The transgender stuff, illegal immigrants given money and free reign, and the lawlessness promoted and allowed by today’s leftists is still just too much for many of them.

When the pollsters are putting together their demographic model, they typically survey more Democrats than Republicans. I think that’s why this election looks so much tighter than what were seeing in anecdotal stories around the country.

I actually have more respect for Old time Liberals, than the Globalist bush rhinos. The ONLY reason I voted for Bush in 2004 was the Court, and he almost screwed that up.

Trump won around 304 Electoral votes in 2016. I don’t think he’ll get Wisconsin and/or Michigan. But he may pick up VA and/or NM.

This has been noted repeatedly.

In January, Forbes did a partisan affiliation survey nationwide. Their results were 45% Independent and 27% GOP and Dem each.

Independents have rejected both parties. They are not some group unable to pick a side. They care about entirely different issues.

Not tax. Not spend. Not Abortion. Not guns.

Mostly they are populists. Simply that. They reject elites of any kind.

Biden had deep roots in the more working Class Democratic Party, that had a spectrum of Conservatives to Liberals. Harris is the Canidate of the affluent Democrat Party, completely leftist

Biden had deep roots in the more working Class Democratic Party, that had a spectrum of Conservatives to Liberals.

He was known as "Scranton Joe". He started his career in the Senate in 1973.

If he did not become senile, there's a possibility that he'll be more like Bill Clinton. Yes, he'll stay with the Left most of the time. But every now and then, he'll move to get elected.
