Cops in Southeast Portland stopped a couple who were driving a suspected stolen car. During the stop, the cops searched the car and allegedly found a whole bunch of incriminating stuff. A lot of cash. A loaded revolver. Some scales for weighing drugs. And they found a bag full of drugs that had the words “Definitely Not a Bag Full of Drugs” written on it.

They say the bag contained 10 grams of fentanyl and methamphetamine. The couple was arrested. The guy, a 35-year-old named Reginald Lamont Reynolds, is facing multiple charges including delivery and unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unauthorized use of the vehicle, and possession of a stolen vehicle. The woman, a 37-year-old named Mia Rochelle Baggenstos, will not face any charges.

I can’t see how the illegal alien importers can claim crime has decreased and do it with a straight face. Our criminals get dumber by the day.

I’m always amazed at how blasé folks are about carry around something that will cost them 10-30 years of their lives the moment they have an interaction with law enforcement...

In CA the loaded revolver in the vehicle is a “wobbler” misdemeanor/felony. You’ll lose your right to possess a firearm for 10 years and get fined out the azz potentially.

And CA LOVES out of state concealed carriers. It’s a fat bust/shakedown of law abiding citizens. Cost an engineer I worked with for a short time on a project $15,000 and 7 weekends of house arrest to avoid having a felony on his record. Your CC permit often has wording of “inform LEO of posession” when stopped. He got pulled over for doing 73 in a 70 zone, asked if he had any weapons and responded in the affirmative and opened his middle console to show it.

If you come over the border and
have out of state tags
look white collar/decently incomed
from state that issues concealed carry permits

Your odds of being pulled over skyrocket. You’re an easy hit. You’re going to be desperate to avoid a felony conviction. You’re probably not going to want to “make a stand” fighting it all the way up through the courts either from a time or money standpoint (where you would most likely win). You’re going to get out the checkbook or the credit card and pay the state and local authorities their grift and try to get on with your life.

The only amusement here is the Bag.
Are the perps Amish?
Names are a slight hint.

It's because they know the laws they violated won't be enforced on them when they get to the courthouse.

The demonrats love narcotics. The lawyers make a boatload of money off of drugs, and they honor those who sell the poison....so it seems anyway.
