BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Baltimore Police confirm a 17-year-old is in grave condition after pulling a gun on a driver near southeast Baltimore's Brewers Hill community.
The Southeastern District Police Community Relations Council told FOX45 News the teen was attempting to carjack the driver.
The Baltimore Police Department's Media Relations is not confirming that narrative but says the driver and juvenile exchanged gunfire.

Once there, officers say they found a male suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.

“Grave.” Is that where he’s going next?
That is a big no-no.
He went to get help......
“He left the scene.
That is a big no-no.”
Maybe it was one of those situations where the neighbors come out to see what happened and the guy didn’t feel safe.
He talked to the police. An even bigger no no.
Grave then Hell
Any bets?
Maryland for decades has been an experimental petri dish mixing illegal alien criminal invaders, urban criminal scum and mostly LIB nitwits. It is an interesting experiment (if you are not living there).
The first thing the FOX station in Baltimore lets concerned people know is that the attempted carjacker is in grave condition. Nothing is said about the condition of the driver except that he was shot.
The reporting of the FOX station in Baltimore is as bad as the FOX station in Austin.
I don't think there's any law that says you have to remain on the scene of a shooting in order to claim self defense or that leaving the scene of a shooting is a crime. The victim does not need to wait around for the thug's homies to show up. It's perfectly reasonable for a person in this situation to retreat to safe ground and call the cops.
The perp is a “juvenile” according to this news article. I bet he’s described as a “teen” in others.
Quite possibly, one step worse than critical, one foot in the grave.
“Teen” - code for blacks I guess.
Generally yes. Lawyer up first.
A conversation limited to "I've been shot, and another guy was shot in 1200 block of South Haven Street, get him an amber lamps right now!" and then shut up, might be safe.
Get your USCCA lawyer before saying anything else.
I'm no lawyer, but immediately seeking help for the other guy should work in your favor, as would absorbing a bullet from him!
Don’t start none, won’t be none. The “teen” got everything he went looking for EXCEPT the car he was jacking. Darwin wins again
Is the 17 y.o. a teenager or is he a Teen? In Maryland doing a carjack, he was surely a Teen.
Agreed. I need to join USCCA. Thanks for the reminder.
In this case he found a policeman and reported the incident. He drove away but didn’t “escape” and it wasn’t an accident.
I think not in this case.
