Former President Obama is drawing backlash for recent comments calling on Black men to turn out for Vice President Harris in November’s election.
At a campaign stump for Harris on Thursday in Pittsburgh, Obama said that despite Harris raising upward of $1 billion, “we have not yet seen the same kinds of energy and turnout in all quarters of our neighborhoods and communities as we saw when I was running.”
That lag in energy, he added, appears “to be more pronounced with the brothers.”
“You’re coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses; I’ve got a problem with that,” he said. “Because part of it makes me think — and I’m speaking to men directly — part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.”
Despite polls showing a generational divide in Black men’s support for Harris, Obama’s remarks have drawn the ire of several prominent Black Americans.

On a GOOD note, the generational gap is that black guys under 50 are more likely to vote for Trump than black guys over 50.
I feared at may have been the other way around.

Regardless of what this....actor...says, it WILL affect the election...a GREAT DEAL in swing states.

Today I’ve watched about a half a dozen videos of black men cursing at Obama for telling them to “get back on the plantation”. From several, the language was salty but all had a common theme; Obama had done nothing for them and their lives were a lot better under the Trump administration. One man specifically mentioned the fact that every company in his town was hiring foreign workers only and it was now almost impossible for a black man to get a job.
Obama has a really bad track record of helping anyone get elected except himself. Half Indian Kamala is a tough sell on the basis of identity.
There's an organization called BAIR, Black Americans for Immigration Reform (I think) whose leaders Kathleen or Kathryn Wells and Donna Jackson are very vocal about this, about how throughout history large illegals being allowed in decimated black employment. Smart ladies.
Obama, Doug and Tim probably have a private room reserved for their own election night corck popping.
The last time Obama himself showed any energy for a campaign was for FL Andrew Gillum. After that he had to go hide in the drapes.
What would Obama know about being a man?

The lying elite have never been able to sound natural or authentic, and Obama always sounded fake when he tried to talk like a brother. But this is even worse.
Most of all, if you fool a brother once and he later finds out, to keep trying is plain stupidity.
