They need more room at the inn.

New York City’s use of hotels as emergency shelters to house migrants will continue for the foreseeable future, The Post has learned, as the Department of Homeless Services is seeking a contract with hotels to provide a total of 14,000 rooms to shelter migrants at least through next year.

The city projects that spending on housing for migrants over the past two years and this fiscal year combined will surpass a staggering $2.3 billion — much of it on rent paid to hotels in the Big Apple.

About 150 hotels are currently sheltering migrants and total spending on migrant services over three years will hit $5.76 billion.

Make that: $165K per room. With 10 “migrants” per room, just $16K per “migrant”.

So let’s drive up the price of hotel rooms in NYC. That will induce the tourism and convention businesses to seek other locations. Industries that bring money into your local economy. Instead you have to drain your local resources to house these ‘migrants’. Yep, seems like a terrific strategy.

For the past year or so, whenever I go to Walmart I always see a line of “migrants” at the 20 gallon water dispenser. What’s up with that? Is there no water service where they are living?

🤔

Let’s see…one airplane ticket to Mexico or their foreign country of choice for each invader @ $1,000 per is $14 million. That’s a LOT less than two billion.

“What about sheltering AMERICANS who lost their homes to Helena and Milton???????????”

For those folks, I’m sure that FEMA will provide them with nice tents and porta potties for their creature comfort needs. Meanwhile, the “new voters” get room service. Replacement Theory in progress.
