The stories that are enthralling twitter for Milton is the idiot who tied up his dog to drown in the hurricane and the story of Lt. Dan. It has been back and forth if he will leave his boat. Apparently he is staying. I think there are even bookies taking bets if he will live.

My sadness for NC is that instead of people continuing to help all hard-hit areas, that the latest one will get the most attention and the earlier ones in NC and TN will be pushed down the memory hole. We don’t hear anything about Lahaina any more, for intstance.
When the news media call this a devastation of Biblical proportions, they aren’t kidding. God bless all the innocent survivors.

I wonder how many people died after running up a hill or climbing a tree when the raging floodwaters were approaching. They could last for a while, maybe a day or two, but not for a week which is what it took Biden to send in the military. There are so many military helicopters available within an hour or two of Western North Carolina, but they were not deployed for a very long time. Today Biden tried to pretend that there was a good Federal response to Helene in western North Carolina. What a liar.

This time, people have been left to take care of themselves, but when they try to rescue others, they are told they will be arrested. Only God can bring justice to this mess. There can be none on earth to this level of DIS-GRACE.

When the circus is in town, there will be clowns all over the place.
Yesterday I read that families were resorting to burying their dead in their yards. I haven’t even buried my pets in my yard. This is 1874 kind of stuff.

They will be finding bodies for months, because some of them got carried away by the flooding water, and are now hidden or buried in mud.
