At lest it’s $50 more then those folks in Hawaii got.
It’s actually criminal in offering out that paltry $750 in the face of them splooshing out $5 grand to every illegal slag they can entice into this country for a vote and change local party dynamics. Criminal.

Just thought of a scene in The Empire of Time by Crawford Kilian (little known Del Rey 1978 SF book).
In the dark American future a woman trying to barely keeping going with her child is robbed but struggles on. Then a couple of days later, the child sees another group of thugs wait for her and rob her of her remaining amount of money. Obviously what they needed to survive.
This time, she sobs, holds her face and drops to her knees in hopeless despair.

Here’s the $750 I gouged out of the working people’s pay.
Victim: I want money. Gimme some.
Kamala: What happened to the $750 allowance I just gave you?
Victim: I spent it. I’m broke and helpless now. I bought candy, snacks, soft drinks, beer and a really nice gamer chair and a new game system. Actually it was a low interest down payment at the game store. I owe more.
It boggles the mind.
Even if people file insurance claims to have repairs made on their homes, $750 isn’t anywhere near enough to pay the insurance deductibles. I know my insurance company jacked my deductible from 1% to 2%. That’s thousands of dollars.
Would fare better by tanning up, speaking gibberish, and claiming to be an illegal “newcomer”.
Six and a half feet of water flooded our river cabin in 2017 and we got zip from FEMA.
We had tried three different places to get flood insurance but our place was not in a sanctioned area.
But even those folks who had lost their full time homes had to practically give a DNA sample to qualify for FEMA checks for $700.
So, with inflation, I’m not surprised that these survivors are only getting $750.
